January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

HI there!!! We are flying out of Buffalo 10am Fri SW. My dh wants to stay in PC so that we can relax in the morning and go to the port...it is so easy to drop the car off and get the shuttle...we did it in July with 2 kids....it saves a bunch of money. I get my car at Alamo at the airport....then the next morning drop off at Enterprise as there is no Alamo in PC. They took us to the ship and that was it....on the way back went to the shuttle depot thiingy right outside the port bldg and Budget picked us up and away we went got our car and on our way back to Disney. Easy Peesy!!! I got my car from Alamo for $33.60 and Budget $35.00 in Jan. I got them for that in Feb 2010 and July & Aug 2010 too. Gas there and back was under $10 ea way.

Greetings:) It does sound pretty easy with the rental so may think about that option. We are flying SW out of Buffalo as well but not until the 5pm flight. My dh does not know what shift he will be working on the Thursday as his schedule seems to be changing continuously so could not chance that he would be working nights Thursday night until 7 Friday morning. My DS that is at Brock will be taking us to the airport in Buffalo (only as he wants Moms car for the week LOL) so we do not have to worry about that end of the trip. :yay:

I was searching the forum for the terminal opening....and found out that Canadians no longer have to get up early for St Thomas immigration!!!! This started in Jan 09 and I last went in 08.

I still think the terminal opens at 10:00 not 11:00 I will have to keep looking for that.

Have you booked your flight back yet? I have not...but right now they are up at $139. ea. I only paid $89.ea down... I forget did I already ask you where you lived? lol! Sorry there are alot of us from around here so I am trying to keep it all straight..

:cool1: :worship:  :dance3: :cheer2: I am soooo not good in the mornings...

We are Paid in FULL - YEAH

now I need to figure out excursions as I can book this weekend.

I think for St Maartin - we are just going to do the Beach Thing so I dont mind spending money in St Thomas to have a good experience.

I really want to have a fun Snorkelling adventure.

i am looking at 4 different ones - have any of you heard anything good or bad about the following:

Doubloon Sail - 3.5 hours
Buck Island - 3.5 hours
Captain Nauticas - 3.5 hours
Full Day Caribeean - 6.5-7 hours

Thanks

Wonder where everyone is from the first few posts here? Are you there? LOL:surfweb:

A friend of mine has done the Doubloon Sail and she highly recommends that one. Think that is what we are going to do.

I picked up some little girls things too! I started working on my adult FEs this week. I think they are going to be good.

Your right I had no problem with picking out something for girls ! Adults are a little harder but I did get some ideas from others on the disboards;; sticky notes, highliters to mark the navigators, address books to add new friends numbers emails etc from the cruise, magnets for the cabin door ,postcards from where you live or even ones from whatever ports you will be in they can use to send back home to freinds and family, popcorn or candy for when they go to the movie onboard , travel packs with things like dryer sheets safety pins, really anything Im sure would be fine as its mostly just fun doing this!:thumbsup2
