I asked about the black draping, the hammering and drilling, all of which he said would not be happening. I suppose that leaves other sounds as a possibility, but who knows. I'm not staying CL and am hoping for a lower level room anyway. So if I'm on one half of the resort that isn't affected by interior construction all the way across the place, I will be content. If it IS inconvenient, well then I'm going to find Nate and demand a substantial compensation for the inconvenience!!! I am at this point going to just go and see how it is. Not much I can do about it I suppose. Cest la vie!!!

I think everything you said above is very smart.

When you get back, can you pop on and let us all know what's going on "on the ground", so to speak?

No, I had missed that!! I was away - hiking in the Black Forest - and got lost in trying to catch up with the disboards!!!!! But I am really glad that I finally found out about that cream cheese pretzel!!!

That is exactly what I was thinking!!! The timing is just perfect...well, for me anyway.

Unless things have changed DRASTICALLY over the past 7 days, and they've been working at superhuman speeds with crews quadruple the size they have been working with....the above just can't be true.

Kudo trail, as of 7 days ago, hasn't even been started yet. They were working, still, on the 5th and 6th floor concierge rooms, and Giraffe and Ostrich trail. They MAY have even been putting some finishing touches on some far flung Zebra trail rooms (which open Sept 1st).

Now I'm wondering where the information is coming from when I called! I spoke with a lovely CM who told me that there was NO construction on Giraffe or Ostrich trails. She also told me that Zebra had been completely finished already, hence the opening of the DVC rooms there, and they were working on the Kudu Trail now, and that would be ongoing for months. It's getting so that I don't know what to believe!

Oh, I just called conceige to make my ressies today and I talked to the neatest "Donald Duck"! Plus what is really funny is that he reads my address and he said, "I know where that is!" ( my STREET!) At first I am thinking kinda weird. But he was awesome so it was okay. But it turns out that he grew up in city I live in! Plus he remembered stuff that I even forgot about my hometown! Plus he attended the same elementary as my daughter did. Is that funny or what! How cool is that!
