Kimmar, congrats on the Masters!

Well I just got off the phone w/ CRO hoping to convert the room only ressie to a package but they said that they still don't have the prices for the packages yet. So I'll call back in a couple of weeks.

BTW, does anyone know how long it takes to get a refund from WDW? For the Sept trip that we cancelled, they were able to apply a portion of what I paid to our new ressie, they refunded what I paid by debit card 2 weeks ago but said they would be mailing a check out for the portion paid by checks and it's been a month now. They did say that they're showing a check will SOON be mailed. But that $700 would sure come in handy for our other vacation. Maybe SOON means a couple of weeks?

I hope so!!!! Yep, I have my resv. for Jan./Feb. room only too, no packages yet!! It's at the Poly though........
I'm hoping they'll give a good deal like they did this past Jan./Feb. (not free dining, but $$ off the room,free hoppers, waterparks, etc... was good!) Let's see what we'll get this time!!!!

We are definately planning one day just at AKL, probably Sat as we have an ADR for Boma that night and will be going on the Sunrise Safari the next morning.

I'm just not worthy of the tag anymore. I've changed our February resort. DH and I were talking last night about how "magical" our first trip was and I thought, well I'll call and just get prices on the week we'll be there for rooms at a value, mod, since I know how much AKL is on our ressie. Well it's LESS than 1/2 to stay at a value and I booked All Star Music w/ a request for a king room. DH and I figure that we don't care to go back to the basics, it almost seems fun to think of us staying there w/ out the kids.

We are planning on going next year w/ the kids and staying at AKL that way they can have that experience, it almost takes away some of the guilt about not taking them.

Please don't ban me from this thread, I love you guys. AKL is a dream resort of mine and I think I have a problem w/ spending the extra $ because that's just the penny pincher in me. DH is getting his annual bonus this week and it would more than take care of the trip, I know it sounds crazy but that's just me.
