Awesome.
Agree, tear down the Amphitheater and put a ride in it's place. Not much room to work with, but the theater isn't needed. The only time they use it is for cheer leading competitions and the Bill and Ted show. They could build a Spiderman3 ride.

If the show brought in money, and it went to new rides, then I'd be all for it.
But that's not how it works. Any money the show brought in went to the bottom line so a bunch of suits at the top can have more vacation homes. It doesn't go back to IOA directly for new rides, at least it hasn't up to this point.

The attendance numbers tell the story. IOA is falling behind DCA and SWF in the top 10. Why? No new thrill rides. iVillage wasn't meant for IOA.

Actually, no. It was a huge advertisement for the parks. Rides are coming, but having the employment production was bringing to the area suddenly go stinks.

It would be interesting to see the attendance numbers during the time that ivillage was there. I never saw any activity in the 11 days that I was in the park to indicate that anything was even going on there. I don't think that 95% of the people knew that ivillage live was even there.
