It's the truth,it's actual! Road trip,CSR, DxDP,MNSSHP! *NEW PTR LINK IS UP!! PG 38*

Awesome update! I was proud of myself when we hit the character jackpot....Mickey, Incredibles and UP! :woohoo:
Yeah, that was awesomeeee!
We were so lucky that we didn't get dumped on by rain again! It started but didn't last long.
we lucked out pretty well with rain I'd say!

Oh Jenn, I hate to ruin your childhood memory---but Body Wars was in the Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot. Same type of ride, but unfortunately not the same place. :guilty:
Hmm... good to know. Whatever the case, it was that same feeling I suppose??
I used to love that ride, I remember something about a splinter and you traveled through the body to get it or something. I wish they'd bring it back!!
I remember thinking holy crap.. how'd they shrink us LMFAO!

I remember thinking holy crap.. how'd they shrink us LMFAO!

I really kind of miss that "gullible" quality that I had as a kid. From Santa to Body Wars to I dunno---everything. It's such a nice feeling to just believe something even if it's completely off the wall. These days, going to WDW makes me feel that a little bit again, but not quite as completely awestruck if that makes sense.

6am. and another wonderful wake up call from Stitch.... Waking up was not quite as easy today! The excitement level was there though! But you know how swimming wipes you out! Well being in a hot oark all day then swimming reallly wipes you out! I decided to let jack sleep until the very last minute! No way was I trying to deal with that hot mess! Poor kid had no nap the day before and went, went went!

Kayla woke up looking a hot mess, and didn't wanna get out of bed! When she did we all laughedd at the site of her!

We quickly got ready and headed out with Jophia's crew. Today was breakfast at Tuskerhouse and a day at DAK! We were also meeting up with Kelly and her crew! Our ressie was for 8:05, and we were there right on time!

When in Florida, your camera likes to fog up from temperature changes.. so heres the best I could do for the DAK sign:
Disney2009firstcard908.jpg

I took some pics along the way to Tuskerhouse

Once we got there it seemed a bit crazy..unorganized actually. We put our name in, and were told to wait..blah blah blah.. eventually we were able to get in line and take a group pic! Kelly's mom bought this, and I forgot to ask her for a copy. It turned out really cute!

Then our name was called and we were brought to our table...wait scratch that , we were brought to our TABLES!! Grrr, again we were seated at dif tables!! It was quite annoying! Especially for me, who had two sets of friends there! I don't wanna have to pick where I sit! Fortunately enough for me, I have kids and they plopped somewhere and I took that as ok, thats where they are sitting,so I guess I betta sit next to them!

Our server was a nice guy and got all our orders in pretty quick. Good ting too, because once the characters started coming they didn't stop! the food here was excellent, and it is on our permanent list of must eats for our DAK days! Today we got to meet Mickey, Donald,Daisy, and Goofy, all in their Safari attire! It was very cute! The characters were great with everyone and took their time!

Before the characters came out, they had a little conga line type dance! the kids loved it!

After breakfast we all decided that we would ride the safari together. Don't throw stones at me, but I could take this ride or leave it. I love looking at animals, but I would NEVER wit in a long line for this!

How cute is this, buddies waiting for the next bus

Ok ok okok.. are you bored yet?? Sorry I am!! After the safari we said goodbye to Kelly's fam and went our own way. Traveling in a large group is just TOO hard! BUT it is awesome to be able to do some rides together and then eat meals together! I am definitely looking forward to future group activities! Once the kids get older, this will be easier as well!

AT this point we decided we would go see Festival of the Lion King! We missed this show last year! and I was heart broken over it!!

*continued in next post...

I was going to say something funny about them peeing themselves, but then stopped myself in case they were the legs of your friends

Really enjoying all your photos

I love Sully. I really need to try and get a pic with him this year

That umbrella is so cool:thumbsup2

The pool at CSR looks awesome. So nice you all were able to swim together. Looks like everyone had a blast

I am with you on Safari, it is fun to see the animals, but not going to wait a long time

Not sure how you feel, but I could take or leave AK. Really does not do a lot for my family.

But, Trent is excited to try Everest, so we will heading there to at least conquer that Yeti :woohoo:

It was fun!!! soo soo fun!

I love how Kayla poses from H2T (if you watch Top Model, you totally know what I mean). She's so cute!

Just sat and read the whole thing!! Really enjoyin' your TR and all your pics!! Can't wait for more!!

Hi, InkedUpMomma!

Please don't EVER say your pics are craptacular - 'cause they ROCK! (Just like you!)

Loving it -

Mrs. Spratt

Maybe it's just the shot on my computer, but Frozone (that's his name, right?) looks like he's wearing a bra in the picture where's he's posing. Hmmm...

What morning were you having breakfast at Tusker House? We were there on the 16th.

I think we may have seen you guys (or at least your kids in the stroller) on the Monorail just before it pulled out of the Contemporary one night. I think it was the 17th because that was the night we had been at the MK all day and found the bus lines crazier than usual for some reason after closing. :confused3

I refused to stand in the line (not that you could even find...like I said, I had never seen it that bad even for Pop), so the 4 of us split up and made it a race to see who got home first. My DH and older DD stayed and waited for a bus while I took younger DD and found a different route. LOL We walked over to the Contemp, hopped on the monorail to the TTC and then took the monorail to Epcot before boarding a bus to Pop. Woo Hoo...Avery and I won! LOL :cool1:

But anyway, I thought I saw your kids just before the monorail doors closed at the Contemp. We had just missed that one. :goodvibes

Hahahah.. I'm gonna have to go back and look now..maybe it's supposed to be man **** muscles?

could be! I can not for the life of me recall that night though..well the mode of transport part anyway!

there were a couple nights where I was like ***FFF.. but I bet they are being extra cautious with everything that has happened lately!
But anyway, I thought I saw your kids just before the monorail doors closed at the Contemp. We had just missed that one. :goodvibes
were they stunningly beautiful children?? if so then yes, prolly mine:lmao: I may be biased:rolleyes1
Greatupdate Jenn !!
Thanks Rosie :)

Wow..sorry about the continued in next post and then nothing! As soon as I submitted that, jack woke up from his nap..and he had an accident in his bed. Sooooo..yeah TR had to be put on hold!

Where were we?? Yes, heading to Festival of the Lion King!

Some pics along the way...

We got there and didn't wait long at all before we were seated. We were in the Elephant section. I have to say, this show makes me soo emotional! I can remember seeing it with Kayla for the first time in 2005 like it was yesterday.. of course I teared up a few times! I'm an emo mess sometimes!

The show was brilliant as always!

This show alone is worth the price of admission to the park! and i think it is wonderful that Disney offers this show! I am lucky enough to live near two major cities Philadelphia and New York. My kids will always be able to see broadway shows and local shows. But not every one is that fortunate, so I think it is nice that Disney offers something larger than life like FotLK and Nemo!!

After the show Jophia decided they were gonna head back to the resort soon, so we parted ways.

After we left them we winded up hitting the character jack pot again!

*continued in next post..fer real this time ;)

First we saw these guys and there were only a couple people in line!! Score!

Disney2009firstcard1354.jpg

Kayla LOVES Chip and Dale! So she was super happy!
Disney2009firstcard1357.jpg

All the characters were out right about now. Luckily we had met a good amount at breakfast, so we just skipped them! We decided to head towards Kayla's all time favorite ride Kali River Rapids! On our way out of Camp Minnie Mickey we saw Pocahontas standing all by her lonesome!! Score again!

Disney2009firstcard1362.jpg

She was not as good as the Pocahontas we met in 2005 looks wise, but she was SOOO sweet! That was a nice surprise character!

Now we were on our way to Kali for real! We got there and YAY,Jack was tall enough to ride this year! He was soooo excited! SO were we! We all LOVE this ride, but especially Kayla. I don;t know the exact reason why it is her fav, but I think it is because she was so scared of it in 2005, and she went on anyway and conquered her fear. After that ride she was more open to trying new "scary" rides! So yay her! Since this is a water ride, I have no pics..sawwy! I took some pics while we walked through the ine though!! Again, a walk on!!

Disney2009firstcard1363.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1366.jpg

After the ride..for some reason John thought this sign on the gate was hilarious and MADE the kids take a pic next to it...

Disney2009firstcard1368.jpg

After KRR, I decided it was time for Kayla to finally try Expedition Everest..wait, it was my first time too! I was sooo nervous!! Sowas Kayla... the backwards riding, the yeti..eek! But we went anyway! We got there and I picked up fast passes so her and John could return later. We got in the stand by line, since teh wait was only 20 mins. John had the camera, so again no pics...although I have a few mobile ones of the stuff along the line. The wait was def a full 20 mins.. now here comes the hahhaha funny but TMI part. I had not gone potty since we got to Florida.. not sure why, but I hadn't. WELL, we were next to board on the coaster when all of a sudden I had to GO! Like really go! I grabbed Kayla and ran out of the line... Found the nearest bathroom and all was better in the world! Kayla was pissed..she pulled a total mommy moment. She was all, you waited til we got all the way up there to decide you couldn't hold it anymore?? I nodded my head sympathetically and promised I would get us back on without waiting. Sure enough the lady at the fast pass line remembered me running out and let me walk right back on!! Woot! There was no one waiting in FP at all so we were able to get right on! I LOVED this ride, and couldn't believe how nervous I had let myself get! Kayla liked it to..although she says she didn't love it... She's full of it! She def liked it!

While we were doing all this, John and Jack were busy doing this...

Disney2009firstcard1379.jpg

Apparently, john thought it would be an ok idea to let Jack get SOAKING wet, knowing full well that we had a lunch ADR with Kelly and her crew very soon! and Of course I never packed that extra outfit that I kept saying I was going to!

By the time we met back up, it was time for our lunch ADR with Kelly and the crew.
I'm too tired to post any further, but will make a new post in the am finishing up our day!

*Up next- where did we eat lunch, what else did we do in DAK and a sleepy time dinner!

When I last left off, we were heading towards our ADR to meet up with Kelly and company, and Jack was soaking wet!

I had been looking forward to this ADR for a long time! Now might be a good time to mention where this ADR was.. Yak and Yeti. Most of the reviews I had read were mostly good..some bad! But after reading Alan Renfroe's TR, I was confident in going and actually really excited.

We all got there and I put our name in. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait. 30 minutes later they were ready for us, but if we wanted to sit together then we would have to wait longer. I was aggravated at this point and got snippy with the lady. I said, you had 90 days to figure this out, I don't see why we have to wait any longer. I didn't mean to get snippy, but she was being non caring, and honestly, I think they forgot about our table and that's why they messed up the seating. Whatevs...

Disney2009firstcard1389.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1395.jpg

Luckily we were seated right next to each other! Kelly and her fam sat with each other and my fam sat together! Some pics while we waited
Disney2009firstcard1400.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1402.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1405.jpg

Since my fam was on the DxDP we were able to get apps. I got the seared pork won tons and John got the fried green beans:

Disney2009firstcard1398.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1399.jpg

These were out of this world!!

For our entrees John got the ribs, and I got the steak with shrimp (I'm lazy today and forget the exact names.. I may put in exact names later..if not go to allears.net ;)

Disney2009firstcard1407.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1408.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1409.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1410.jpg

Ok, I don't know if I was full from breakfast, hot or just pissed from the seating thing, but I did NOT love this! The flavor of the steak was very off to me... and the shrimp was mushy and bland :( kelly's husband had the same dish and LOVED it though.. so who knows?? It certainly was presented lovely! Kayla and Jack split the kids hamburger with apple sauce and fries. No pic, sorry! It was good according to them ,and a nice size!

For Dessert John and I both had the Cream Cheese Won Tons with Pneapple:

Disney2009firstcard1411.jpg

Disney2009firstcard1414.jpg

I LOVED this dessert! john liked it, but didn't love it. This place wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I would go back for apps and dessert any day! But prolly not next year LOL!! Also, Kelly and her fam enjoyed their meals, but said it wasn't amazing.

What really annoyed me, was the 3 something they charged me for Jack's choc. milk, since he wasn't on the dining plan... NO other place has ever charged us for his milk. I was annoyed. But whatevs.

We are going on a family pumpkin picking outing, so I can not do a full update like I intended, but I wanted to give you a lil' sometghing something :)

Happy Sunday everyone!

*Up next- where did we go, who did we meet and the very sleepy dinner!

That is a riot about Kayla having a mommy moment about waiting to go til last moment :lmao:

Jack was soaded indeed. Was it cold in restaurant?

Festival of Lion King looks awesome. Trent asked me other day if we could go to the circus one day. I see them doing acrobats in your pictures. Is the whole show like that? If so, I could tell him that was Disney version of a circus and satsify him :rotfl2:

I know! and what could I say?? she was right!! I just apologized:sad2:
Jack was soaded indeed. Was it cold in restaurant?
YES! and this happened last year, so I was extra pissed that john didn't think! He lived though lol

You could totally get away with saying this is a circus! they do a lot of acrobatic, and fun circus stuff! It is truly a beautiful show! Not to be missed! He will def be in awe!

Did you check out Frozone's bra? :rotfl:

I'm glad you loved EE!!! It's one of our favs! I wish the Yeti still worked, though. Maybe one day they'll fix him and he'll move around again. (He used to come down towards the cars; but, from what I've read, he was too heavy for the podium he's on, so it started to crack. They've turned him off so he won't keep moving and cracking the podium even more.)

I've heared iffy reports about Yak & Yeti, so I'm happy with my choice not to go there. Maybe on a future trip when we've hit all of our #1 places already, but not this time.

That face paint on your friend's little girl is GORGEOUS!!!!

Hope you have a great fall-themed day! I wish we had that more around here; it's in the 70s/80s here now, which is about as fall as we'll get for quite some time. (Almost 90 one day this week.) Plus, it never really looks like fall. It just goes from green, starting to turn to fall colors, then dead.

I finally have good cake story news!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!! You'll have to get on your g-chat quickly some point tomorrow so I can fill you in!
