This is always a fun day at school! The point of this activity is to develop student understanding of antonyms while also building conversation skills and senses of humor.
Students (grades 1-2) are encouraged (during teacher-designated times of the day) to say the opposite of what they think or feel. The kids get a real kick out of this!
So, in honor of OPPOSITE DAY, I'll start:
I can't wait for summer to end!
