Just an update.....indeed wifi is on at Magic Kingdom and it's free throughout the park. We were able to use the Mobile Magic app on our IPhones and it was awesome! No data usage and we can use iMessage to communicate between iPhones and our daughters 4th gen iPod touch. Sounds like the other parks will have wifi soon. If I discover any other parks this trip I will pass that info on!

-I really wanna stay at Bay Lake! I've been looking into it recently and I love the theming!
-That coffee looks yummy!
-I've never heard of no refills! That's strange!
-I love Shanleigh's dress!
-Those pancakes look amazing!
-Girl's can never have too many pairs of shoes!
-I can't wait to see what you bought at DTD!!!!!!

Back from vacation at Grand Beach for the last couple weeks and all
caught up now!! Baa.... back to work tomorrow!!

We still need to plan a Saturday to get together for lunch and go check
out Micheal Rodent's!! lol

debbie :thumbsup2

Now I love Disney transportation and enjoy the bus as part of the whole experience but I think in a wedding dress I would have to take a taxi. I would be afraid that the bottom of the dress would get so dirty. Oh well, I hope she had a great wedding.

I love how you are pointing out all of the jewelry that Shanleigh got. :thumbsup2 I love getting little things from the countries.

Sounds like your relaxing day is off to a great start with breakfast at Kona. It's probably our favorite place to eat.

A bride on the bus? I find that just a little strange........

Sounds like a great start to your day! I really wanted one of those bead bracelets while we were down there but totally forgot where to get them until you just mentioned it! Now i'll have to wait until next time, and I can have an excuse to get back there sooner haha. I look forward to reading about how DTD went!

Ahh...love the beginning of another relaxing day at the World!:goodvibes

Yeah, there's totally an interesting story behind the bride on the bus. Has to be.

I've been wanting to try the Lilikoi juice, but I won't be eating a Poly breakfast (that I know of); do you know if they serve it at 'Ohana at night or at Captain Cook's?

Kona breakfast looks so yummy! I need to try those pancakes!!! :thumbsup2

I love love love the juice at Boma! I wonder if it is the same?
I agree with the previous poster...Disney should have given Shanleigh free refills.

Kona is a gorgeous restaurant! We never miss a diner there.

I'm excited about the free Wifi in MK. I can't wait to try the Magic Mobile app!

I bet your Sister & family are having a wonderful time in WDW! I wish them a great trip! :goodvibes

Bride on a bus ??? :confused3 ..... only at Disney! :rotfl2:
She should have taken the carriage.

Hello Queen!!

Well, first off I need to share my joy, I FINALLY got to plan a trip! My daughter, son and I are going back in January and I cannot wait! :dance3:

I love it that you and your DD go to Kona for breakfast as well and (of course!) enjoy the press pot coffee, because we always make a point to go as well! :goodvibes

Loved Shanleigh's earrings too, another thing we have in common, I always buy jewelry on every trip as well. :thumbsup2

I'm looking forward to hearing what you did for the rest of your 'off' day!! ;)

Talk to you again soon,
 Carla

I'm playing catch up!!

Sounds like you had a lovely morning with friends at DHS, I really love all the rides there, but haven't been on the backlot tour in while. Might need to do that next trip! :goodvibes

Via Napoli sounds wonderful, minus stupid guests at other tables. I cringe thinking of my days as a server :scared:

Looks like a great start to the morning with breakfast and shopping!! I am not a great early riser so we don't get to try ADRs for breakfast often :rotfl:

Oh I love the view from the monorail! It's always nice to see MK from above and Space Mountain :goodvibes I gotta agree about BLT too, it is so nice and so close to MK. Oh, how I wish to say there someday.
Me too! The closeness is exactly what makes us want to stay there too![/COLOR]
Mmmmm... the breakfast at Kona looks delicious. I keep on hearing so many good things about the Lilikoi Juice and the Macadamia Pancakes, I may have to make a two year in advanced reservation lol If that were possible haha Love the scenery at the Poly too, it is such a nicely themed resort, it's a shame I haven't taken the time to enjoy it enough there.
They are both delicious! The food at Kona has always been good IMO and it's a must for us on our trips:thumbsup2
Wow, a bride on a bus? That is truly a rare site! I wonder why she was taking the bus to DTD. Shouldn't she be on her way to the GF or SoG. :confused3
A rare sight it was! Not sure where they were going or what they forgot but we definitely took a double take!
Can't wait to read about the rest of your down day! :mickeyjum

A bride on the bus? :confused3 I had to do a double take when I read your comment...:rotfl:

That photo of you holding up the coffee cup is wonderful! You can immediately tell how happy and relaxed you are.
Shanleigh's earrings are very pretty!

Kona does have great color schemes, and I know what you mean about how filling those pancakes are! It's impossible to eat a whole plate. I've had a server limit me to one cup of that juice before, so when my mom ordered it last time, I told her to get a glass of water with it and nurse the juice. It's a little weird, in my opinion. Does the stuff really cost so much you can't afford refills? :confused3

Can't wait to see what the rest of the day holds for you two!:goodvibes

Yes and the funny thing was I didn't notice her until we got to the back of the bus and sat down...it was very odd!

I was so happy to be here at one of our favourite places having REAL coffee:lmao: It was so yummy and I drank the whole pot! Shanleigh wears her purchases all the time...she loves them all!

I didn't even think about the juice thing because last year it wasn't an issue but we'll know going forward, if she wants unlimited quanitites of juice, book O'Hana's:goodvibes

I am waiting to know what you purchased at DTD :yay:

We've only eaten at Kona once but enjoyed it. It was great to have REAL coffee!

Bride on the bus :bride:huh...bet there's a story there. Was the groom on as well?

I'll let you know in the next update! I'll let you in on a little secret tho....someone bought way more than I did:lmao:

Ohhhh cool! I'm eating breakfast at Kona for the first time this year and I don't think I've ever seen the inside! Looks so pretty, I can't wait to see it in person!!
A bride on the bus? Hahaha I wonder what that was all about! :confused3

You're gonna love it...I just know it!

It's one of those things that we still think about...it was one of those events that make you go hmmmm!

I love how you guys always include pool/DTD days in your vacation too, it's one of the reasons I always like taking the longer trips so we always have time for these.

We loved Kona for dinner, but seeing your pics has me really wanting to try it for breakfast sometime as well, and I love Shanleigh's earrings....it's so awesome how shopping in World Showcase is always so different from the rest of the WDW stores.

A bride on the bus? That is a very interesting situation....I would have thought they would have arranged their own private transportation.

I can't wait to see what you girls picked up at DTD...one of the greatest shopping destinations there is :goodvibes

Before we started taking two week or longer trips we never had down days or pool afternoons because I always felt we didn't have enough time. That was also back in the day when I thought what if we never come back and I didn't do.......how silly I was;)

Boma and Kona are two breakfast places that we now always add to our list! Boma only if we're staying at AKL just because of the travel time!

I agree about the WS shopping we absolutely love it because they have such different finds!

We thought the same thing, if you can afford a WDW wedding surely you could afford transportation:lmao:

You rebel you! What's next? Leather jacket and a Harley? ::yes::

How do you know that I don't already own those two items;)

Go Queen! Get down! :cool1:

:dance3:

You realize of course, that so far this is the opposite of a 'down' day?

I guess it could be looked at that way couldn't it.....retail therapy is always a down day LOL

I seriously don't know how you managed to stay on the monorail. I see that, I'm out the door.

Only because I knew if we stayed on there was something that I loved waiting at the other end....pressed pot of coffee!

popcorn::

Oh, dear. :sad2: You couldn't be more wrong.

Aww... That's nice of you.

Really? You can't tell. :rolleyes1:

;)

That's kinda odd. It's not unheard of, but... considering the money that's already pouring in, you'd think an OJ refill wouldn't break the bank.

I know here if you go for breakfast you have to pay for juice refills but there it had never happened to us before so it kinda thru me:scratchin

Absolutely beautiful scenery. And that stuff that's behind Shanleigh is okay too.

Yeah...that' swhat I meant to say :rolleyes2

I've heard that.

Of course I heard it from Imelda Marcos... but still...

She was a peach wasn't she....a peach with lots of shoes!

Double B! Nope, that's a rarity, that is. :lmao:
Thanks for the chapter! :goodvibes

Looking forward to seeing all of you this afternoon!

:confused3that about sums it up!

Coffee was definitely yummy and delicious! Shanleigh said thank you! That dress was well worth the 20 she spent for it:rotfl2:

Shanleigh and I both love pancakes and only ever have them if we go out for breakfast! So yummmy!

Back from vacation at Grand Beach for the last couple weeks and all
caught up now!! Baa.... back to work tomorrow!!

We still need to plan a Saturday to get together for lunch and go check
out Micheal Rodent's!! lol

debbie :thumbsup2

We haven't made it to Grand Beach once this summer...not good! We do need to do that...we should have lunch at Saucers and go next door to Michael Rodent's....maybe Sept when everything slows down!

We hoped the same for her and I said to Shanleigh you never know if maybe her car didn't show up and she just panicked....I guess we'll never know!

Shanleigh always shops for cute little finds at WS and she managed to find quite a few this trip!

Sounds like your relaxing day is off to a great start with breakfast at Kona. It's probably our favorite place to eat.

A bride on the bus? I find that just a little strange........

We couldn't have been happier! Neither of us are much for sleeping in so it was good to be up and out to start our day!

It was unusual:confused3

Sounds like a great start to your day! I really wanted one of those bead bracelets while we were down there but totally forgot where to get them until you just mentioned it! Now i'll have to wait until next time, and I can have an excuse to get back there sooner haha. I look forward to reading about how DTD went!

Shanleigh looked at it everytime we were at WS but only ended up with the one bracelet....the other jewellery was all from Italy! There is nothing like already having an excuse to start planning another trip!

Couldn't agree more. I love the morning at WDW and any excuse to get out of the room earlier I'm game!

Has to be is right....I felt bad because she really didn't look happy so I knew something was up! You never know what happened that got them there that's for sure!

I don't know if they do...we've had it at O"hana for breakfast but I don't remember seeing it on the dinner menu!:confused3

Kona breakfast looks so yummy! I need to try those pancakes!!! :thumbsup2

I love love love the juice at Boma! I wonder if it is the same?

Bride on a bus ??? :confused3 ..... only at Disney! :rotfl2:
She should have taken the carriage.
It's definitely the same juice that they serve at Boma and it's so yummy!

Geodoc is having a blast with his WiFi at MK...they are on the downslope now and come home Tuesday...can't wait! We sure have missed them and can't wait to see all their pics!

Hello Queen!!

 Carla

Oh Carla....I am so happy for you, I know how much this means to you! I will be looking for a TR when you get back:thumbsup2

Glad you enjoy it as much as we do! Tooo bad we aren't going to be there at the same time:sad:

You and her would definitely have a great time shopping...she could look and look and look....so I grab a glass of Rose Regale, hit a bench and wait!:lmao:

I'm playing catch up!!

Sounds like you had a lovely morning with friends at DHS, I really love all the rides there, but haven't been on the backlot tour in while. Might need to do that next trip! :goodvibes

You and me both hon!

I enjoy when there's an attraction we haven't been on in a while and then get to experience it again! Makes it feel somewhat new!

I have a few girls at work that also work as servers in the evening and they weren't at all surprised by that story!

I guess a morning ADR would be hard if you're not an early riser...I never thought about that before:lmao:

Sounds like a nice, relaxing morning! Breakfast looks delicious. I can't wait until we have options beyond character meals! ;)

The bride on the bus is hilarious. I wonder what on earth she was doing there?

Greetings from Blizzard Beach!! Having a great time!!! And....free Disney Wifi here too. So that makes both water parks and MK at this time.

Queen, I'm so sorry...I don't know how I missed your update.

Kona. :worship::worship::worship:: This is one of the meals I am so looking forward to. I could drink that pressed pot coffee all day; but, then I'd never go to sleep after drinking it. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Love Jasmine's dress...she looks so cute. And a girl can never have too many shoes...or so I'm told. I'm not big on having a lot of shoes.

I can't wait to hear about your morning of shopping,

I'm so very late but in and caught up. Sounds like a wonderful trip so far.
