Oh I love the view from the monorail! It's always nice to see MK from above and Space MountainI gotta agree about BLT too, it is so nice and so close to MK. Oh, how I wish to say there someday.
Me too! The closeness is exactly what makes us want to stay there too![/COLOR]
Mmmmm... the breakfast at Kona looks delicious. I keep on hearing so many good things about the Lilikoi Juice and the Macadamia Pancakes, I may have to make a two year in advanced reservation lol If that were possible haha Love the scenery at the Poly too, it is such a nicely themed resort, it's a shame I haven't taken the time to enjoy it enough there.
They are both delicious! The food at Kona has always been good IMO and it's a must for us on our trips
Wow, a bride on a bus? That is truly a rare site! I wonder why she was taking the bus to DTD. Shouldn't she be on her way to the GF or SoG.
A rare sight it was! Not sure where they were going or what they forgot but we definitely took a double take!
Can't wait to read about the rest of your down day!![]()
A bride on the bus?I had to do a double take when I read your comment...
That photo of you holding up the coffee cup is wonderful! You can immediately tell how happy and relaxed you are.
Shanleigh's earrings are very pretty!
Kona does have great color schemes, and I know what you mean about how filling those pancakes are! It's impossible to eat a whole plate. I've had a server limit me to one cup of that juice before, so when my mom ordered it last time, I told her to get a glass of water with it and nurse the juice. It's a little weird, in my opinion. Does the stuff really cost so much you can't afford refills?
Can't wait to see what the rest of the day holds for you two!![]()
I am waiting to know what you purchased at DTD
We've only eaten at Kona once but enjoyed it. It was great to have REAL coffee!
Bride on the bushuh...bet there's a story there. Was the groom on as well?
Ohhhh cool! I'm eating breakfast at Kona for the first time this year and I don't think I've ever seen the inside! Looks so pretty, I can't wait to see it in person!!
A bride on the bus? Hahaha I wonder what that was all about!![]()
I love how you guys always include pool/DTD days in your vacation too, it's one of the reasons I always like taking the longer trips so we always have time for these.
We loved Kona for dinner, but seeing your pics has me really wanting to try it for breakfast sometime as well, and I love Shanleigh's earrings....it's so awesome how shopping in World Showcase is always so different from the rest of the WDW stores.
A bride on the bus? That is a very interesting situation....I would have thought they would have arranged their own private transportation.
I can't wait to see what you girls picked up at DTD...one of the greatest shopping destinations there is![]()
You rebel you! What's next? Leather jacket and a Harley?
How do you know that I don't already own those two items
Go Queen! Get down!
You realize of course, that so far this is the opposite of a 'down' day?
I guess it could be looked at that way couldn't it.....retail therapy is always a down day LOL
I seriously don't know how you managed to stay on the monorail. I see that, I'm out the door.
Only because I knew if we stayed on there was something that I loved waiting at the other end....pressed pot of coffee!
Oh, dear. You couldn't be more wrong.
Aww... That's nice of you.
Really? You can't tell.:
That's kinda odd. It's not unheard of, but... considering the money that's already pouring in, you'd think an OJ refill wouldn't break the bank.
I know here if you go for breakfast you have to pay for juice refills but there it had never happened to us before so it kinda thru me
Absolutely beautiful scenery. And that stuff that's behind Shanleigh is okay too.
Yeah...that' swhat I meant to say
I've heard that.
Of course I heard it from Imelda Marcos... but still...
She was a peach wasn't she....a peach with lots of shoes!
Double B! Nope, that's a rarity, that is.
Thanks for the chapter!![]()
hmmm
-I really wanna stay at Bay Lake! I've been looking into it recently and I love the theming!
-That coffee looks yummy!
-I've never heard of no refills! That's strange!
-I love Shanleigh's dress!
-Those pancakes look amazing!
-Girl's can never have too many pairs of shoes!
-I can't wait to see what you bought at DTD!!!!!!
Back from vacation at Grand Beach for the last couple weeks and all
caught up now!! Baa.... back to work tomorrow!!
We still need to plan a Saturday to get together for lunch and go check
out Micheal Rodent's!! lol
debbie![]()
Now I love Disney transportation and enjoy the bus as part of the whole experience but I think in a wedding dress I would have to take a taxi. I would be afraid that the bottom of the dress would get so dirty. Oh well, I hope she had a great wedding.
I love how you are pointing out all of the jewelry that Shanleigh got.I love getting little things from the countries.
Sounds like your relaxing day is off to a great start with breakfast at Kona. It's probably our favorite place to eat.
A bride on the bus? I find that just a little strange........
Sounds like a great start to your day! I really wanted one of those bead bracelets while we were down there but totally forgot where to get them until you just mentioned it! Now i'll have to wait until next time, and I can have an excuse to get back there sooner haha. I look forward to reading about how DTD went!
Ahh...love the beginning of another relaxing day at the World!
Yeah, there's totally an interesting story behind the bride on the bus. Has to be.
I've been wanting to try the Lilikoi juice, but I won't be eating a Poly breakfast (that I know of); do you know if they serve it at 'Ohana at night or at Captain Cook's?
It's definitely the same juice that they serve at Boma and it's so yummy!Kona breakfast looks so yummy! I need to try those pancakes!!!
I love love love the juice at Boma! I wonder if it is the same?
I agree with the previous poster...Disney should have given Shanleigh free refills.
Kona is a gorgeous restaurant! We never miss a diner there.
I'm excited about the free Wifi in MK. I can't wait to try the Magic Mobile app!
I bet your Sister & family are having a wonderful time in WDW! I wish them a great trip!
Bride on a bus ???..... only at Disney!

She should have taken the carriage.
Hello Queen!!
Well, first off I need to share my joy, I FINALLY got to plan a trip! My daughter, son and I are going back in January and I cannot wait!
I love it that you and your DD go to Kona for breakfast as well and (of course!) enjoy the press pot coffee, because we always make a point to go as well!![]()
Loved Shanleigh's earrings too, another thing we have in common, I always buy jewelry on every trip as well.
I'm looking forward to hearing what you did for the rest of your 'off' day!!
Talk to you again soon,
Carla
I'm playing catch up!!
Sounds like you had a lovely morning with friends at DHS, I really love all the rides there, but haven't been on the backlot tour in while. Might need to do that next trip!
Via Napoli sounds wonderful, minus stupid guests at other tables. I cringe thinking of my days as a server
Looks like a great start to the morning with breakfast and shopping!! I am not a great early riser so we don't get to try ADRs for breakfast often![]()
