I thought I should let you know that I am getting my first tattoo in November! I really am excited because it has so much meaning to me! I will post a pic once I get it!

Hooray. I am all caught up.

I think it was Disney overdose that kept me away. Being there for ten days was wonderful, but a couple of days too long at the same resort. I was so worried when we got home that I was out of love... Luckily, it isn't the case. I am already trying to figure out our winter trip!
Hello my friend I know exactly how you felt, I had a moment or two like that myself on this past trip which I will get to in future posts!
Now, let me go back...

Sorry that you didn't see the morning show, but I am glad you had relaxing mornings.
I'm stilled bummed that I missed it but it was nice to be relaxed for a change

I think I love the atmosephere of DHS the way you love it at Epcot. Have you ever sat on a bench near Min and Bill's Dockside Diner by Echo Lake? Heavenly!
YES YES YES....we did that this trip and you are so right....we both sat there (one of us was having a chocolate shake and it wasn't me) and enjoyed the surroundings...it was surreal!
So sorry for Disney Blues!!!

I saw the first airing last night at 9pm and sent my sister a text (they're in Disney right now) asking if she wanted me to order anymore for her They are so fantastic and I did order a fushia set now for Shanleigh!

I am going to Jenn at 13th Hour on Notre Dame! Her work is fantastic and after many years of researching she is gonna be my artist! This one has to be special and I think she's just the girl for the job!

This update brings us to Wednesday May 23 and this would be one of our DTD/Pool Days and we were both looking forward to a "down" day!

Our plans for the day were to begin with breakfast at Kona at the Poly at 9am so we were up and out by 8am! Our plan was to grab the bus to the MK then the monorail to the Poly! We had great bus mojo once again as it pulled up just seconds after we arrived so we were off!

We made our way up to the monorail and we're both secretly hoping for The Avenger monorail but this came instead so we jumped on!

One of my favourite views from the monorail...you just know there is pure magic inside those gates!

Shanleigh was by the window so she started snapping away....Space Mountain. I was thinking without Jeff or my nieces there I was gonna have to suck it up and go on this because I know how much she enjoys this ride.

Bay Lake Tower...how great would it be to stay here just steps from the MK...sounds like a future ressie will have to take place here!

We arrived at the Poly in no time and they took us right in! Shanleigh took this shot of the restaurant from her seat. There is something about this restaurant and it's colours that I love!

Later on, desserts would be displayed here but I guess 9am is a little early for creme brulee

There was something I had been looking forward to since we landed and that was a pressed pot of coffee! I love coffee and this is my absolute favourite so I couldn't wait to indulge. I did the thumbs up for Jeff

Just as good as ever....I was a very happy girl!

It didn't take Shanleigh long to finish her glass of juice and the think I found odd was our server said if she wanted another glass she would have to pay for it That has never happened to us here before so she ended up with water...The last time we were here I know she had at least 3 glasses of it with not a mention of extra charges. Notice her earrings, she purchased them in Italy...actually she purchased a lot of jewellery on this trip so I'll try and remember to point it out during the TR!

Once again, I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast before I started eating. I had the macadamia nut pancakes with sausage and this was all I could eat...they are delicious and very filling! Shanleigh had plain pancakes with bacon and her plate looked very similar to mine!

Love the scenery in the Poly so I just had to have Shanleigh stop for a picture, something I never make her do The bracelet she is wearing is from the Bead Outpost in Epcot! Her and the two ladies had a great conversation about the women in Africa who make these! We spent at least 45 minutes there checking everything out!

We decided to make our way over and see what they had to offer in the Tiki Boutique

My favourite line of products....H20....I think I own every product they sell and Shanleigh knows when they get it in at her work she is to buy whatever it is and just bring it home The body butter, shampoo and conditioner are some of my favourites and I've recently fell in love with the dry oil spray...great for after a day in the pool!

Apparently a girl can never have too many shoes!

After we had our fill of wandering around the boutique we decided it was time to head for the bus. It was another gorgeous morning and we had some serious shopping to do at DTD! We had to wait about 15 minutes for the bus but we were just enjoying the beginning of our relaxation day!

Oh I love the view from the monorail! It's always nice to see MK from above and Space Mountain I gotta agree about BLT too, it is so nice and so close to MK. Oh, how I wish to say there someday.

Mmmmm... the breakfast at Kona looks delicious. I keep on hearing so many good things about the Lilikoi Juice and the Macadamia Pancakes, I may have to make a two year in advanced reservation lol If that were possible haha Love the scenery at the Poly too, it is such a nicely themed resort, it's a shame I haven't taken the time to enjoy it enough there.

Wow, a bride on a bus? That is truly a rare site! I wonder why she was taking the bus to DTD. Shouldn't she be on her way to the GF or SoG.

That photo of you holding up the coffee cup is wonderful! You can immediately tell how happy and relaxed you are.
Shanleigh's earrings are very pretty!

Kona does have great color schemes, and I know what you mean about how filling those pancakes are! It's impossible to eat a whole plate. I've had a server limit me to one cup of that juice before, so when my mom ordered it last time, I told her to get a glass of water with it and nurse the juice. It's a little weird, in my opinion. Does the stuff really cost so much you can't afford refills?

We've only eaten at Kona once but enjoyed it. It was great to have REAL coffee!

I love how you guys always include pool/DTD days in your vacation too, it's one of the reasons I always like taking the longer trips so we always have time for these.

We loved Kona for dinner, but seeing your pics has me really wanting to try it for breakfast sometime as well, and I love Shanleigh's earrings....it's so awesome how shopping in World Showcase is always so different from the rest of the WDW stores.

A bride on the bus? That is a very interesting situation....I would have thought they would have arranged their own private transportation.
