Canon Powershot S5 IS. I love it. It's truly amazing. I am bringing 4 memory cards. Two 2GB, One 128MB and One 516MB. I am terrified I won't have enough!

You know, I was trying to have my Dad help me with my flash issues and he told me to just read the manual. He was right! I am so glad I did. I am not usually a manual reader.

D'oh! You're never going to believe this but I have that camera! And I know NOTHING about stitch together or these special color shots.

Off to the manual I go.

Remember that the camera centers in the parks can transfer the photos from your memory card to a CD. The advice I've read says be sure to check the CD before you leave the camera center and erase your memory card.

I can't believe I already have a camera that can do that. What a dunce!

I am still shopping -- I think I am going to ask for one for Christmas, but with DH I have to be very specific as to what I want. Otherwise, there is no telling what I would end up with!

It is very wise to be specific. I also had an EasyShare One. I think the Easyshare's are great first digital cameras. It had a touch screen too!

Holy Carp! 12X Zoom? No wonder your pics at the baseball game were so good. My DH would be so jealous (not that I'm not...) because he wanted more zoom, I wanted a camera that fit in my purse. Guess who won?

Sometimes I really hate that it is a bit on the bulky side but I love pictures so much that it is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

For those interested, I found this chart on the Lexar website about how many pictures memory cards will hold.

So if this is true...my four cards will hold approx. 1,342 pictures. Hmmm. I am still worried. I know that is nuts but there you have it.

But my system does seem a little flawed, because when you're down to one day I would have one set with one smiley.

Barely! I am so tired it's not even funny. I keep trying to go to bed early but it's not helping at all.

Have you ever tried melatonin? It's a natural sleep aid; you can get it OTC in the pharmacy section. Probably with the herbs/supplements. I finally used some last night (a double-dose) and I think it helped. You want to be rested for Disney!

Edit: I tried a new system with my smileys and I don't like it much. I just changed the "starter smiley" for each row and repeated the order, but it's not as pleasing to the eye. Sigh.​
