It's a Jolly Holiday with LL. *FINISHED* Final Update on pg. 58.

Am I crazy or did I see a Snow White disign on here? Or maybe someone else knows? I was hoping to steal it and use it for my MNSSHP shirt. (If that's okay) Please help! I scrolled through over half of this PTR looking for it!

Three days!!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!
:woohoo:

I have never heard about memory cards failing

My plan this trip was to leave the laptop at home. I don't plan on taking as many pictures this time and didn't think I'd need to dump the pictures every night... maybe I better rethink that.
I wouldn't worry too much, I think you will be fine.

I don't know if you saw Snow White or not. The only Snow White I think I had was of Lilo & Stitch dressed up as Snow White and Grumpy.

:rotfl: :lmao: If electricity goes out at the World, you might be able to power, well, probably not a whole ride, but a snack stand. I think you're set! :thumbsup2
Not Spectromagic? Maybe I should buy a few more batteries! ;)

Hmm...it was a close of of Snow White. She was to one side with a saying on the other side. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about??? Thanks LL.

Pardon my lateness....many many apologies....

THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:yay: :yay: :yay:

I have to be honest, I am starting to get butterflies in my stomach and a wee touch of nerves. Don't get me wrong, I am super excited to go to Disney but a little nervous. I think it's the anticipation.

I feel like I accomplished a lot today. In list form, shall we?

Letter for MIL -- I had to write out the instructions for the kitty care. It kills me that she coming to check on them but I rather have them checked on than not. That's how much I love my furbabies.

Seats on Flight -- On a whim I was showing my cubicle mate on how you can pick your seats on AirTran flights. So I went to the screen for the return flight from Orlando. Originally I had paid $24 to pick our seats on the way there and the way home. On the way there we had a two seats in a row. On the way home we were going to have three seats in a row. DH has mucho anxiety about the close quarters on the plane so being the good wife I am, I said I would sit in the middle. Boo. Today I saw that on the way home, there is seat rows of two now! Yayayayayaya for flight changes! Yayayayayaya for two seats!! Yayayayayayaya!!!

Memory Cards -- Laugh if you will, I did pick up two 1GB memory cards. They were on sale for $14.99 at Target! I was very excited to get them for so cheap. That's a lot of memory for your buck! I am confident that I will have enough memory for pictures and video. As long as they don't fail....:rolleyes1

Email to Mom -- I sent my Mom our Flight and Hotel information with phone numbers and all that good stuff. I did not send it to MIL because I don't want her tracking me down. I let my mom know that if something awful happens that she will have to call MIL, I did provide her phone number because I am good like that.

Litter Box -- DH and I bought an extra large roasting pan to use as an extra litter box while we are gone. We put it down early to make sure it would work. Good thing we did. Didn't work so well, so I had to pick up a cheapo litter box at Target. Which is more difficult than you think since Sulley is ginormous and over 23lbs! They were out of the large size, so I had to pick up a shallow tupperware container. :lmao: That is probably more than you ever wanted to know about a cat litter box.

Cleaned Desk -- I cleaned my desk at work and reorganized my set up. I really like it. I have to clean my desk before I go on vacation. Helps me to ease back into stupid work.

Keys -- DH is going to drop off our house keys to MIL tonight. She did offer to come pick them up on Friday night. No thanks. :goodvibes

We have a few things on to do list still:

Pick up some back heat patches for me -- Stupid back pain. Of course, like an idiot I was moving furniture around this weekend. Idiot.

Clean the House -- MIL coming, enough said.

Laundry -- Need to do both our work laundry so we can pack most of it.

Finish Packing -- I am so close to be finished, alas I know that on Friday night when I get home, I will unpack everything and start over because I will fear that I have forgotten something.

Paint My Toesies -- I removed my nail polish on my toesies over a week ago to cleanse the toesies. They must be clean for the dream squad juju. I think I will be painting them tomorrow night to provide the optimum results once I am down there. Jackpot!!

Charge Camera Batteries -- In the process of charging them all.

I am sure I will think of a million more things to do before we leave. I am special like that.

Over the last few weeks I have been getting into the Disney spirit by watching Disney movies and finishing "Walt Disney The Triumph of the American Imagination" by Neal Gabler. The biography is so good and it's pretty fair as well. It's not jaded but not sugar coated either. I am just about at the end and think I will finish it before we leave.

As far as the Disney movies, I realized that I am a complete sap. The other night I watched "The Littler Mermaid" and balled my eyes out at the end. When I was little, and mind you LL was just about 7 or 8 when this movie first came out, I remember watching it with my cousins and they laughed at me because I cried at the ending. The part that gets me is when King Triton gives Ariel her human legs, I start crying EVERY TIME! Then at the end at the Wedding, when he makes the big wave to reach her on the boat, SOBBING. I thought I had outgrown it. Not so much, I still cried.

I also cried at "The Fox and The Hound" when Widow Tweed sends Tod back into the forest. Sobbed. DH had fallen asleep and he was woken up by my sobbing. I was so upset I had to turn it off and didn't see the ending. I still haven't watched the end, and I forgot what happened. I can't risk the tears again.

Other movies I have watched in the last few weeks...
Mulan
Pocahontas
Beauty & The Beast
Ratatouille
Peter Pan
Brother Bear
Bambi II
Atlantis
Alice in Wonderland
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo
Toy Story
Robin Hood

I think that's it. Oh and in case you were wondering, DH has fallen asleep during all the ones that I have been watching on the nights he is home. I am saving Mary Poppins for Friday night. :goodvibes
While I was in Target today I saw "The Little Mermaid III" and I wanted to buy it so badly. Alas, I didn't. I have an Amazon gift card and plan on purchasing it as soon as I return from Disney. I loved "The Little Mermaid II" (release it from the Vault, oh wise Disney Vault Gods :worship: ) and really want to see this third installment. Hmmm....I can't decide which movie to watch tonight....suggestions?

Okay, first off, I vote for Hercules. That is such a good movie. Makes me cry every time I hear Go the Distance. It's because I have issues...we won't discuss. ;)

Yeah for checking off items on the lists!

And you know what? If spending $14.99 on two 1 GB cards makes you feel better, then for pete's sake, enjoy them! You have PLENTY of card space for your photos/videos and back up to boot.

Sounds like things are going swimmingly. :thumbsup2

Bummer. I don't have Hercules but that would be a good one. Disney movies I have that I haven't watched yet....Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, Oliver & Company, Sword in the Stone, The Incredibles, Dumbo......I think that is it.

I am refusing to feel guilty over the $14.99. It makes me less worried. :wizard:

Laugh, I will not. In fact I am on my way over to buy some for myself! I've never heard of memory cards failing either but of course now I'm worrying about that a little. :sad2:

That is probably more than you ever wanted to know about a cat litter box.
I guess it IS true... learn something new every day. ;)

Helps me to ease back into stupid work.

Stupid work. Amen sister!

Paint My Toesies -- I removed my nail polish on my toesies over a week ago to cleanse the toesies. They must be clean for the dream squad juju. I think I will be painting them tomorrow night to provide the optimum results once I am down there. Jackpot!!

Cannot wait to hear how the juju experiment goes! :thumbsup2

I just checked out your 10 day extended forecast and it looks pretty good! :dance3:

Well of course!....it's a Lady Lallie PTR installment, what other form IS there?!! ;)

Oh heck, that's a typical scenario in my house, pre-vacation!! Except I bypassed the make-your-own litter box and went straight to the cheapo actual litter box. Pippin will express his disgust at not having the box area "just so" by not using the box area. Nuf said.

Clean the House -- MIL coming, enough said.

Just so you know, this never changes. I'm married 16 years and still get anxious over the state of my house when I know MIL is coming....:scared:

Ok this is just TOO cute! :rotfl:

I vote for the Incredibles!

"Where is my super suit?" :lmao:

Umm....I have to second this suggestion.....! :rolleyes1

I keep hearing that Gustav is going to miss us. I really hope so. I have a feeling my dreams will be about memory cards tonight. :lmao:

Sulley and Pippin are the same! Sulley will actually get your attention and then do it. Very comical watching DH's face the first time Sulley did that. :lmao:

I really hope my dream squad juju works. I really can envision myself in Cinderella's Suite. :wizard:

I am off to watch The Incredibles!

I'm laughing over you instructing your mom to inform MIL if something terrible happens since you're a good DIL! :rotfl: But I totally understand not wanting her to track you down.

Definitely enjoy those memory cards! You have your photography lists and your cool camera, so enjoy! And let us benefit. :thumbsup2

And yay for you not having to sit in the middle on the flight back!

Hmm...it was a close of of Snow White. She was to one side with a saying on the other side. Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about??? Thanks LL.

~Beka~

I know what you are talking about. She posted one with Snow White that said "I was going to be a witch for Halloween by my MIL wouldn't let me borrow a dress"

Us too! Although my DD keeps picking the same movies to watch (mostly the Pixar ones!)

The way I figure it, me emailing MIL will just open up the floodgates of communication which has been minimal this week. I would like to keep it that way. DH said to just send it to her, I told him he is more than welcome to type it out and send it to her but I will not being doing that. This is the MIL who wanted us to call her on our honeymoon and said that she would be calling us on our wedding night to make sure everything was okay. Yep, that's what she said. I wish I had a camera at the time because my Mom's face was just priceless.
I am really excited to take pictures. I even have some leaving day pictures I want to take. I am obsessed. :rotfl2:

I totally forgot about that one! Good memory! :thumbsup2

I watched The Incredibles last night. I forgot about the part at the very beginning with him trying to get the cat out of the tree, cracked me right up.

  !!YEAH FOR 2 DAYS!!

Sounds like you have everything falling in to place :thumbsup2

I cry at just about every Disney movie. In fact, off hand, I can't think of any I haven't cried over... Yes I am a big suck :sad2:

Did you enjoy the Incredibles last night... WAIT! I don't think I cried watching that one! Well so then I'm not a complete cry baby :rotfl2:

I really can't believe it's two days. Especially since I only have ONE MORE WORK MORNING!!! :yay: :yay:

I enjoyed The Incredibles very much last night, though I fell asleep just as it was getting interesting. :lmao: I am glad I am not the only cry baby, some of the movies just get to me!

ICleaned Desk -- I cleaned my desk at work and reorganized my set up. I really like it. I have to clean my desk before I go on vacation. Helps me to ease back into stupid work.

I need to do that too. Especially since I learned that on my first day back I have to come in at 5:30 AM
I like your lists, they remind me of all the stuff I still need to do too! We're running out of time...in 48 hours my plane will be touching down in MCO! :hyper:

I have never been able to watch Fox and the Hound after the first time I saw it some twenty-odd years ago. Too sad!
The movie that always bursts me into tears is Meet the Robinsons. I am adopted as well, so that always gets me
