DH is excited for Disney, too! Though I don't think he conveys his excitement as well as I do. His is a more reserved excitement.

I have been figuring out my camera settings and I am so excited. I finally found how to set the nighttime and fireworks settings. Yay! Spectromagic photos here I come! Hopefully the setting will work well while we are down there, along with my trusty gorillapod.
I also found this cool setting called Color Accent. Basically what it is, is that you have a little box, you put the box over the color you want to show in your pictures. For instance, I did pink for my first picture. When you take the picture, only pink colors will show up and everything else will be black and white.

Next, I picked greens to show up.

I have to say that my free(!) mousepad I got from Snapfish of our wedding flowers demonstrates this beautifully. As well as my Lime Green Disney Organizer.

I also took pictures of my purple luggage.

I am really excited to play around with this at Disney. I think it's just a neat feature.

I figure I should end this camera geek post with more photo lists!

*Pictures in The Great Movie Ride --- I am determined to get a good picture of the Carousel horse from Mary Poppins. Mine from last time was awful!

*Animals, Animals & more Animals --- I just love taking pictures of Animals. When I went in 2003, I got these great shots of a baby monkey swinging over to it's Mama. So great. I wish I still had them.
*Flora, Herbage, Greenery, Oh My! --- I just love the atmosphere of Animal Kingdom and plan to make many pictures of flowers, trees and such.

Both are on the shorter side, but that's okay with me! These are more like a guideline anyways. I have a list of miscellaneous pictures coming up next.

I have a Canon Powershoe S5 IS. I love it, it's amazing, I want to marry it. It's really quite easy, once you read the manual.

It does work on regular AA batteries, which I love. They hold the charge for a really long time too. I bought the Energizer rechargable camera batteries, they are a little expensive but I bought two sets and they last a very long time. I think I changed my batteries once on the cruise. Are you still shopping for a digital?
