Ah, yes...we are heading to WDW Wednesday and at first, I thought....oh, no! Then, I came to my senses. It's supposed to be single digits here for the rest of the week, so a high of 50 doesn't sound so bad.
Yes, I wish it would be 70 and sunny, but I'm trying to have a positive attitude.

It's 0 in your old hometown. Enjoy your 27 degrees! I know you hold a romantic notion of upstate NY, but my suggestion is to just enjoy your memories of it and stay in FLORIDA!!!!!!!

Cold down south in the UK too! Froze my hands scraping the ice off the car this morning!

Plus it is threatening to snow again too! Now don't get me wrong, I love snow when I can ski down it, and in places which have the capacity to deal with it... Britain doesn't. The whole place goes into meltdown! We never have enough grit to keep the roads reasonable, our pavements are beyond treacherous, and the holes left in the road are deathly!

Sorry for the grumble, I hope you are all safe and warm, with better systems to deal with cold!

I am sitting looking out of my window and it is snowing again !!!!!! 14 days we have had snow on the ground and I am DONE with the snow. Reached -9 here last night and we are not on high ground. Our services are failing - we have no grit to put on the side roads, the pavements are ice and our rubbish cant be collected as they cant get the bloomin' truck up the hill

but if I were going to WDW and it was cold there I would be even more fed up

It's icy here, and threatening snow, but salty sea air will prevent too much snow!

I am in Minnesota and it is very cold. With the wind chill it is somewhere around -20. We have so much ice, and snow on the ground that we will not see the pavement until at least April.

I repacked to include my thermals and long undies. Although highs in the 40's and 50's would feel like summer right about now....
