Here are the closeups! Sorry, I am short and they have them up high lol. Chatted with my guide who was there and he had nothing to say apart from that they are excited and that the wide photo is of the restaurant. šŸ˜† He did hook me up with another drawstring bag and some new sticker sheets. Let me know if you want anything else!
Thank you! Any other pics of that gorgeous fine dining and a 2BPH?

I posted all the photos of the restaurant but here are the penthouse and the restaurant photos again! It’s the same photo we have seen before for the penthouse.

Not sure about fine dining? Is the indoor/outdoor restaurant supposed to be fine dining?

Just with pool etc access is restricted to residents.
I believe the legal document sleuths already confirmed IT guests and longhouse/hotel guests will all have access to all Polynesian Resort pools, so it won’t be a BLT-only situation. That being said, restricting all the pools to Polynesian Resort guests only (instead of anyone willing to park at TTC and hop over) will probably make sense to do.

I am so happy that it will be a table service restaurant, and not quick service.

The one thing I am worried about is there does not appear to be any place for bell services.
I do not want to have to drag my luggage all the way over to the GCH to get to bell services.
.
I'm sure bell services will come to you

For a price, maybe. lol

Seriously, I don't see them being able to go back and forth from GCH to IT with possibly over 100 Island Tower check ins, check outs, and split stay transfers each day.
At least not in a timely manner.
And that will be in addition to having to deal with all the other Longhouse guests checking in and out.
.

I agree with everything you’ve said there, other than pools bit, luckily not had that problem…..yet! Not sure how relevant if at all but at the back of my mind I can’t help but feel that parts of this building are going to be locked down BLT style.
Agree. For safety & comfort/privacy of guests, there have to some occupany & access limits.
It IS a resort hotel but it isn't a theme park attraction, so areas open to the public need to be controlled.
At least, I think the fire Marshall would agree. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Taking a closer look at the high-res images here and it’s definitely a pretty significant water feature in the outside area of the restaurant, assuming they keep to theses renderings. I feel like the name will probably have something to do with the ocean/water? Seems pretty upscale too so I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended up being a signature dining location.

Also notable is the bar there which would work to be the pool bar, but seems a bit out place to have such a pretty outdoor area for a casual pool bar location, but I don’t see where else they’d have a pool bar so i guess it must be shared. Maybe it’s 2 different dining options? Outdoor will be more quick service/casual and indoor could be signature?

The details and carvings around the restaurant are also really lovely. I really hope these things don’t get cut in the final product, it adds so much.

Totally agree with all that. Sorry, blt pool was just the example, there’s other amenities that can be restricted though such as garden rooms etc.

Restaurant looks like what you'd find in a high end Vegas casino floor...I particularly like that a lot. Giving me some ritzy Hawaii vibes. This is going to be a fun place to stay
Agreed, I'm liking that it looks somewhat more upscale. It fills a niche that Poly really didn't have before. It has QS covered with Captain Cook's, casual table service with Kona, O'hana for it's buffet/character dining. I hope its offerings make it the top restaurant for Poly.

Maybe they will restrict elevator access - that would limit guests to lower level floors.
