Attaching Shoulder Plushies

Has anyone got any alternative ideas/suggestions on how to attach shoulder plushies to clothing or bags using something other than the provided magnets?

I've never worn a shoulder plush before, however I picked up the below 2 from HK as I just couldn't resist them. I'm planning on wearing them on my upcoming WDW trip, however reading through comments on another thread, I hadn't considered the fact that my Loungefly straps will likely interfere or knock the plush. I don't really want to go down the route of using safety pins to attach to my clothing, but am debating whether to attach directly somehow to my backpack straps instead. So any alternative ideas or ingenious solutions would be very welcome!

Never heard of those but they are absolutely adorable!

If it was me I'd go for maximum attachment but also a failsafe to remove them if they get annoying in some of way or start to get ruined.

I would pick up some heavy duty Velcro brand patches, 4X2 inch 8 sets holds up to 10 lbs and use the adhesive to place them then sew the rough side to the bottom of the plush securely. Next I would get the backpack to fit properly then mark exactly where I want them to sit and secure the opposite softer side with sewing just as tightly. Softer on backpack because it would be less annoying and scratchy when the plush is detached. Finally on days I want to wear it I would attach with velcro AND also sew it all on the edges as a precaution. Finally, I'd just carry around a seam ripper with a cap so when you want to detach just release the final stitches and detach to pop in the backpack or leave home and use a cheap travel sewing kit for a few dollars at Walmart to reattach. The nice thing about this is you can always use other soft halves on other items, bags or backpacks

I think could do the rubber band/hair tie trick that many used to attach the Nuimos to backpack straps. I would leave the magnetic base at home so you don't lose it. My nephew lost the magnetic base to his grogu and he couldn't get a replacement.
