Is one person holding an AP enough to book a room discount?

Also can you only book one room with one AP?

I'm considering getting AP for most of us anyways, but would like to just get one for now and book two rooms.

Is that possible?

It is doable. Just wanted to add in case anybody searches for information as well, that since we are staying at GF club level for 7 nights we actually saved $1200 on two rooms over and above the summer discount rate.

I ended up buying passes for our family as we will plan a second trip around them before they expire, but either way it would have made sense to buy one to get the increased discount in our situation.

Yes, you only need one AP holder in the room and you can book a total of 3 rooms, as long as the other two are traveling with you (same dates and resort).

So I understand, if I purchased an AP, I could book 3 rooms and be the only one in our party with an AP? Or does it mean there would have to be an AP holder in each of the 3 rooms but that I could book 3 rooms?

Just you. As long as you are in one of the rooms, you can book up to 2 additional rooms. Must be the same dates and the same resort. Book over the phone. You can't book this online.
