Is "nekkid" a bad word?? need help with definition :)

What does the word "nekkid" mean to you? Does it mean something different in the southern US?
My DD14's band is called Nekkid Frankie and one of the more conservative moms told me today that her brother informed her that the word nekkid meant "naked with intent". I have always thought it was just a fun way of saying naked
BTW-I was in on the naming of the band, nekkid means nothing bad to me, but really want other opinions....not that we'd change the name of the band, too far along for that

I can drink my tea...nekkid...aka plain. I take it as something other than describing a person. Like food, objects, emotions, if that makes sense.

Naked with intent? That is a new one for me.

See!! That's what I was thinking! I got on urbandictionary.com and sure enough it made it sound dirty. But I have never heard that before, I thought it was just a southern or humorous way of saying naked
Of course, urbandictionary is like wikipedia, anyone can add what they like.

Well to me is shows that the person can't spell .. naked is naked not nekkid.

Well, I'm born & bred Southern and we always used the word "nekkid", especially when referring to kids...as in "Hey, catch Lil Buddy for me. He's runnin around the yard nekkid agin!"

That was the quote I was just trying to remember and it came from one of the greatest comedians/humorists that ever lived.

Well, I guess his "Up to somethin" may mean intent, but what is the intent, to run nekkid across the football field for fun.
