I booked a little getaway for my wife and myself from March 25-30 and staying at our home resort of SSR. :cool1: We are not doing any parks and only looking to rest and relax and maybe do the odd Orlando attraction. I have ADR's for Jiko's, O'hana's dinner, and 1900 Park Fare dinner. Is this time considered spring break time or is just after spring break :cheer2: ? Anyone have any experience of going around this time of the year?

TY

Yes, that is spring break. We will be at FW that week and the next. :thumbsup2

Any time before Easter is spring break pretty much.

There is no 'Spring Break', there's a Spring Break Season. My college and others in my area break the first week in March so that's when we go. Other schools break on different weeks, many clustering around Easter. Peak Season at WDW starts mid Feb. and runs through April. That's a busy time at WDW in general with Easter Week being the worst (been there, done that, never again).

Also, just so you know, we have Florida Seasonal passes, and the block out dates for "Spring Break" aren't until April. So Disney themself considers April their BIG Spring Break month, while you will of course have some in March, you won't be getting the majority of Spring Breakers, which come in April.

We'll be there March 24-31st and yep that is spring break season. I am hoping since Easter is a couple of weeks away it won't be as busy as it was when we went in '05 on Easter Sunday.

A lot of schools have spring break in March every year.
A lot of schools have spring break the week before or after Easter every year.

So when Easter is in April, March will be crowded but not overwhelming.
When Easter is in March, it will probably be a nightmare.

Thanks for the replies. Luckily I am not planning to go to the parks just stay around the resort. Any ideas on how busy the resorts or DTD can be, I'm sure PI will be hopping!! :bounce:? It doesn't really seem that SSR will be a hot bed of activity for high school to college students, or atleast I hope. Boy I couldn't imagine how busy the water parks would be. I may try to book at Discovery Cove for the day but that will be my limitation on going anywhere.
