I am traveling to Oak Grove/Fort Campbell, KY. Flying to Nashville - then hooking up the GPS and hoping it guides me where I need to go!! This is the first time - for work - I am not meeting others at the airport, I am on my own. (the only place I feel comfortable traveling solo is to WDW!! )

Hi, Js & Ks! Hope everyone's days went well. Sonata Festival is over but I am p**ped! I had paperwork that had to be done for a teacher and it took two hours this morning. I had to be at the University at 7:00 so you know what kind of day I had... shall we call it an Alison Day??

I am already in my jammies (that took 10 minutes from walking in the door) and have a whole bottle of this:

Now if dinner would just magically appear at my door!

We had a long day, but accomplished a bunch! Our cleaning lady brought her brother along and between four of us we built a kitty city, unearthed my dining room table (to host a Production meeting tomorrow for our band), tidied up the house and then potted/repotted the rest our container garden that we started last weekend. We have four kinds if tomatoes, two cucumbers, zucchini, green pepper, strawberries, oranges, lemons, limes, apricots and nectarines. Plus our terms and palms are happier in new pots.

All I have left is grocery shopping! Our magically appearing dinner will be Stouffer's lasagne! I'll have to crack open a nice bitle of wine too!

So dinner tonight was fried calamri with with a hot pepper and butter sauce. Then a cesar salad and grilled lobster with a citrus glaze. For dessert it was a fresh.berry cobbler. All in the name of a birthday dinner..with a nice bottle of pinot grigos

Airport security is going to HATE me!! I have 2 laptops, plus all the other stuff I'll need to "take off" or "remove from the bag"!!! Then put me through the body scanner and I'll bet they'll have to pat down my left shoulder again because of the watch on my left wrist!!
