She was furious that we were in her territory and chased our vehicle for quite a while, ruffling her feathers the entire time! We could hear them rustle.

She did this on our Safari too. We had to stop and wait for her to go by and then she chased our vehicle!

About studios: I figure right now I don't know what I'm missing, so I'll enjoy my ignorance until next year. If those Grand Floridian Villas are open by next December I want to add a couple days before that cruise. Asked my CM if he's heard when they'll start to sell and he hasn't heard anything yet.

Until you spend a week with one of those jacuzzi tubs, an evening in where you want to chill and both of you want to watch something different on TV or one of you doesn't want the TV, or you're too tired to sit through a restaurant meal. You can whip up something quick in the kitchen. You won't miss any of that until you experience it. For us it took 4-5 studio stays after mostly 1 brs before we got fed up. Besides YMMV.

Thanks for the congrats on CL - I was SHOCKED frankly, I've never done the online booking before, I only even saw that it was avail. in my disney files yesterday, so, once I decided to check it out, I went online, put in the date and viola - it came up as avail, so I quickly grabbed it............ I couldn't believe it. Of course, I had to check again and there were none avail. - so, I guess I just stumbled in at the right time!!!

Alison, that's exactly what I mean, once you stay in a 1br - it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to go back to a studio!!! ESP. if you stay in a 1br at Kidani - the extra bath alone is enough!! I LOVE having the kitchen, the washer/dryer, the extra space, the jacuzzi tub, the much larger-longer balcony - esp. with 3 people, it makes it so much nicer!!! How's Fran feeling? Better I hope!!!

So - how much farther can we push this thread???

I love the online booking system! I've already booked five different rooms using it and I have two waitlists going!

I forgot about the washer/dryer. That makes it so nice on packing. I only need half the clothes of a week long trip because I can start washing on the 2nd or 3rd day to keep ahead of things. And then I come home with mostly clean laundry!

Fran is doing OK. She still has this bug worse than me, but she won't slow down and get over it. Plus with all her hip/knee replacements she feels better than she has in years so she keeps overdoing it!

AKL-CL reservation has been made -- DH very happy!! The only discount available was AAA - I'll take anything I can get! It's an odd amount -- 11%


I'm packing today; heading out of town tomorrow for 2-1/2 weeks. Wish it was vacation, but it's for work. I should be able to "Dis" most evenings!

Thanks everyone! It's these #&$%@#! Contractors. The boss has given his nephew a "lead" position and he's a total moron. The job they did last Fall was sloppy, and before we hired them on the current job we talked about it with the owner. He promised that he would make the other job right.

Well on the current job they painted the whole place. There was a base color and each room had an "accent" wall. Well he couldn't remember the "base" color when he was at the paint store. Instead of Swiss Coffee he bought Navajo White. All the walls look like they were painted with snot! Today they have to repaint the whole thing.

Yesterday though, there was a problem tithe tye cabinet knob sizes. It really wasn't anyone's fault, but my Grumpy got REALLY Gtumpy! After a meltdown in Lowe's and an apology, everything came out OK, but for an hour or two it was dicey!

Laura, I was thinking the same thing with the server upgrade!

Where is this trip? Safe travels!

I am traveling to Oak Grove/Fort Campbell, KY. Flying to Nashville - then hooking up the GPS and hoping it guides me where I need to go!! This is the first time - for work - I am not meeting others at the airport, I am on my own. (the only place I feel comfortable traveling solo is to WDW!! )
