I'm not sure how familiar those of you not involved with the LGBT community are with the "It gets better" project, but after that poor kid in NYC (I think) killed himself after his roomate exposed him online for having gay sex, there there has been a huge movement in the community to let kids (and others) know that "it gets better".

I would have to say that it is definitely true! While my 20s were OK, my 30s were definitely better, but my 40s have been far superior to any other decade! Highlights have been buying DVC, realizations of what's truly important in life, more "true friends" and less pretenders, and stronger family ties.

I'm sure you will also find a more enriched life as you add candles to your birthday cake. But until then enjoy you last days in your 30s. Have fun celebrating your birthday week!

I woke up this morning thinking that tomorrow I'll wake up and soon be on the plane

Just in case I can't get back on, I hope to, but just in case, hope everybody has a fabulous week

I sadly didn't get my waitlisted CL, so have to put in a grocery order. Oh well, I knew it was a long shot but I was still hoping.
