Wow, have I missed a lot! Great pictures everyone!

Ann, please take care of yourself. Hope all you sickies feel better.

I've been sick for over two weeks (sore throat, coughing, just feeling yucky); was on antibiotics and Sudafed. I started to feel better last week, and then woke up Thursday morning dizzy and light headed. I emailed my DD (Dr. Erin) and she thought I might have fluid in my ears and should see a doctor. Couldn't get an appointment that day so they suggested that I go to their Urgent Care center. This is when everything went bad! The doctor thought I had a stroke or TIA, but I needed to come back the next day for a CT Scan. I called Erin. She called a Neurologist. “Go to hospital immediately.” Better safe than sorry.

The tests came back fine. No signs of a TIA or Stroke. Sent me home Sunday. Seeing my doctor Tuesday for follow-up. I've had problems with my sinuses since October; taken antibiotics and steroids. I feel better for a while and then get sick again. Hopefully, my doctor can figure this out and get me feeling like myself.

I saw my primary care doctor yesterday. She said the Urgent Care Doctor was completely wrong in his stroke or TIA diagnosis. (Funny thing is that this doctor works in her practice.) I'm going to see an ENT doctor. Hopefully I can get the right meds and start to feel better.

Thankfully they were wrong, but what a scare! Here's hoping the ENT will be able to help you out. That's who I finally had to see when I had a two month sinus thing last year.

Good morning everybody. I have the day off today and we are about to head out to have a look at Ordsall Hall, the oldest building in Manchester, which was built in the 16th century.

Corinna

That sounds like wonderful fun. Bring us back some pictures :)

I hope they can see you soon. I'm glad the PCP was able to shed a little light on the subject.

I saw just enough to know Kathy needs this!

I hope you can get some answers very soon, my friend.

...and how's hubby doin'?

I am assuming you meant that for me. :goodvibes

He is... doing. There is still an abrasion on his cornea that has to be treated 6 times a day with drops and all the other issues are still there. BUT, most days he is happy and content to let me help take care of him. There are other days he is grumpy as... Grumpy!
