Is it possible to combine reservations at one table?

We are a large party traveling the first full week of August. We will be staying DVC at the BW.
I have several dining reservations where I booked two reservations for our party at the same time. I would love us to be able to eat together at every meal however I know this is impossible. The only one I would really like all of us to sit together is my 50th birthday dinner at Ohana. We have a 4:30 reservation on a Wednesday.
I know we probably will not be seated together. I know the policy is strictly "your large party will be split up and probably won't even be near each other". I'm asking if anyone has had success grouping together their reservations, and if so, how is the best way to try to make this happen???

The best way to make it happen would be to find a single reservation for the larger number. That said, I'm sure they will do their best to attempt to seat you together or near each other, but can't guarantee anything. It will depend on conditions when you check in. It's not like they can split up another party to make it happen.

Disney can accommodate large parties we had no issues with 11 I will not say we always sat at the same table but the tables where next to each other. If you can not find a reservation for the total number you can ask when you check in and that you are willing to wait or better go earlier and ask. For this to happen they will need to find X number of tables that finish their meals at near the same time otherwise they could be holding tables for maybe an hour which they likley will not do. I would strongly suggest to keep trying for the number you need.

Try to find one reservation for 11 (or 12 might be easier, the system tends to like even numbers). Even all on one reservation, though, you aren't guaranteed to be at the same table.

You can also ask at the restaurant when you check in if they can try to seat you together. I think 'Ohana opens at 4, so I'd try to get there then and give them as much advanced notice of it as you can.

My party of 17 sat together at CRT. Three separate reservations for 8 at times within 10-15 minutes of each other and they gave us 3 tables next to each other in the center of the restaurant and sat us at the same time.

Ohana's has big tables , so it is possible. They do do large parties of people.
keep trying for one reservation for all guest.
If you show up with 2 reservations, expect a delay BUT Ohanas will work with you. Go at least 15-30 minutes early so they can start looking fir a table.

We are in the same boat with a party of 11. I booked two reservations within 15 minutes of each other online. I called Disney Dining and was told to go to the restaurant as early as possible or at least 20 minutes prior to the first reservation and ask if they can accommodate your parties together or next to each other. No guarantees of course but they will try to work it out.

We have done this a few times (Party of 15/ Party of 11/Party of 7) and Disney has always been accommodating. Definitely go early and ask politely at the check-in desk. Each time they were able to either get us at one table or at tables right next to each other. Just some additional info, be prepared for potentially a longer wait (ADR usually have a bit of a wait anyway, butif you are willing to wait some extra time- they will work some magic for you).
Bonus- If you go to Ohana- you can get a drink at Tambu Lounge and the wait won't seem so long!!!!!!

We had this happen on our last trip, all dinner reservations were one group of 5 and one group of 3. When we got to the restaurant, we asked if we could all be seated together and they were really great about making it happen. The only restaurant we couldn't sit together was Via Napoli.

You are really at the mercy of the restaurant manager at the time. I would arrive much earlier than your ADR and explain. I have seen it happen no problem and I have seen them split everyone up. It really depends on how many large groups they have in relation to tables that can handle the size or be moved.

Since you are talking a very early 'Ohana, I imagine your chances are good as the restaurant might not be filled yet but I would arrive before opening and be first at podium so they can make some adjustments.

Last week, we had a group of 10 at Chef Mickey's across 2 reservations (that were within 5 minutes of each other). When we checked in, I asked the hostess if we could all sit together or at least have 2 tables that were close together. They were able to get all of us at 1 table.

As others have posted above, the important thing is to get there early. When we had a party of 9 split in various ways, we made sure everyone was there at least 10-15 minutes before the earliest ADR time we had. Check in with the CM at the podium, not via MDE, and ask to be seated as close together as possible. They'll try!

been years since we had a group of 14. we were seated together or tables next to each other. we did have to wait about 20 minutes a couple of times. granted ours were one ressie for 14 but all said we could be split as needed. ps one of the waits was Ohana for dinner but we were seated ahead of another group who waited longer because we had counted an infant and other group had not counted their infant

As a large group my family has been both split up and seated together. It just depends on each restaurant at that specific time. No harm in asking to be seated together, but be ok if you can't be.
