I haven't flown in awhile, so I was checking the airline (SWA) website to see what belonged in carry-on luggage and what neede to be checked. Anyway I thought I read that food should not be placed in checked luggage.
Does anyone know about this ? Is it referring only to perishable food, or all types of food ? Does it have anything to do with them now x-raying all checked bags? I was planning on bring some breakfast food - dry cereal, breakfast bars, maybe granola bars. I would rather not put these in my carry-on - anyone know if they are okay to go in the checked bags.
Thanks.
