I have a dear friend who was faced with this. At first, she tought her world was crashing and she even questioned God with his decision.
Years later, not one regret, not one question, not one feeling other than love.

Your points are well taken.

I would accept and love my child no matter what. That does not mean I would "accept" certain behavior. I guess parents disagree on what behavior they would accept, and they love their children just the same as you or I.
