When my husband and I were married we were unable to take a honeymoon, so on Valentines Day he told me he was taking me to Disney world for our honeymoon. I am to excited :bounce: , I have a couple of questions tho.
Will my parkhopper ticket get us into Universal studios?
Are there extra perks for honeymooners?
Is a backpack better than a fanny pack
How do you keep a Digital camera dry?
How much are the tolls on the toll bridge roads?
Which is the most Romantic park?
Is there a locker that you can rent to put your things in in all the parks?
how much do they cost?
Is it ok to make your own cast memeber cards?
We are planning on being there during spring break how croweded is it?

We will appreciate any and all feed back we get

I can answer about 3 of your questions...No, you cannot get into Universal with your hopper pass. That is completely separate and not related to Disney in any way.

As far as keeping your digital camera dry, we have a case for ours. We don't ususally go the water parks, but on the Rapids ride we go on there is a thing in the middle of each boat to put your things in so they don't get wet.

As far as a backpack or a fanny pack...we don't usually bring anything (except the camera). We don't have any children, so if we need a drink or anything like that we just buy one. It is a lot easier than carrying around a bag all day. But that is the way we do things.

I am sure other people will have more answers for you with regard to your other questions.

Enjoy your planning. If you can, look into the Illuminations Cruise. It is supposed to be really romantic. My DH and I are going to do this on our 2nd anniversary trip this year.

I'll give it a shot!

Will my parkhopper ticket get us into Universal studios? No, you must buy a separate ticket. Usually some discounts out there; look for them!

Are there extra perks for honeymooners? - Yes! Be sure to tell your hotel, if staying onsite...they may leave a surprise in your room!

Is a backpack better than a fanny pack - If you can get all of your stuff into a fanny pack, then, YES! So much smaller & don't have to lug it around!

How do you keep a Digital camera dry? Either store in your fanny pack, or put inside a ziploc plastic bag.

How much are the tolls on the toll bridge roads? This I don't know, as we fly down...sorry...!

Which is the most Romantic park? They're ALL magical, but Epcot World Showcase at night...sigh.... :love2:

Is there a locker that you can rent to put your things in in all the parks? Yes!

how much do they cost? $5.00 per day, $2.00 refunded on key return

Is it ok to make your own cast memeber cards? Do you mean to distribute to CM's who are 'special'? Yes! It's okay and appreciated!

We are planning on being there during spring break how croweded is it? It can get crowded during spring break!

Sounds like you have a lot of questions...I'll refer you to one of the best planning sites on the internet (besides this one, of course!). It should have the answers to every question!

Hope this helps!

As far as backpack vs. fanny pack. If it's just me and DH, I generally go with the fanny pack. If we've got the kids with us and it is a cool weather season, I'll take the backpack just to have someplace to stash jackets during the warmer parts of the day.

Yes, there are lockers for rent at all of the parks. Don't remember how much they are, since we have rarely used them. I know they have a couple of different sizes.

Most romantic park...my pick would be EPCOT. There are so many lovely spots in World Showcase that are a little more private...great spots to sneak some kisses. Try the gardens in Canada, the area behind the UK pavillion near the maze when there isn't a concert going on, the area behind the France pavillion shops, you get the idea. DH and I also love seeing the Impressions de France film and sneaking a kiss at the top of the Eiffel tower.

I carry a digital camera and a 35mm camera to the parks. The 35mm has a separate case while the digital mostly stays in the fanny pack. We usually don't do Kali River Rapids at AK (where I got totally soaked the one time we did do it), so getting really wet hasn't been a problem. If you're planning to do this one you might consider stashing the camera in a locker or bringing along a ziploc bag for it. We had a friend with us on that trip and he just held all the camera stuff for us since he wasn't interested in the ride.

Have a super time! ::MinnieMo

I am so excited and you guys are really making this easier for me to decide thing. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I think it about it all the time and I can hardly sleep at times. Is this normal. I cant wait until we have kids so we can share this with them. I have a 13 year old sister in law and we decied not to bring her this time. Is that wrong? :confused3 My husband and I have always taken her where ever we have been we have NEVER been on a trip alone this is going to be so cool.

Hey DisneyKidFoever,
Glad you are finding more answers to your questions. And yes, it IS normal to think about WDW trips all the time (at least here it is!). Wait until it gets closer to your trip, it will only get worse! And then when it is over, you will be busy planning your next of things you find to be your favorites and recommendations you uncover on these boards.
Another romantic option is to sit on the beach of the Polynesian one night and watch the the Electrical Water Pageant, which comes by around 9 p.m. On nights Wishes is showing at MK, you can watch that from the beach also.

Make sure to buy Mickey/Minnie bride and groom ears. That will give cast members a sign that you are on your honeymoon. Happy Planning :flower:

If you rent a locker at one of the parks, save your receipt and when you go to rent one at another park (on the same day) you will not be charged if you show them the receipt that you already paid for a locker rental at another park.

Another quite romantic idea is to spend an entire day just touring the resorts. THey are all so beautiful, and you're free to wander in and out of them. Check out especially the Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge - different theming, but all very romantic.

Have you picked a hotel yet?
