Inaugural 3/31/12 Fantasy Cruise

I just set up this group. DCL Fantasy Maiden Voyage Cruisers

It is currently set as a secret group which means both the content and members are private. You have to request to join and be approved to view & post. We found that the posts you make to those private groups are not visible on your wall or info. That way no names are out there with location as to who is on this cruise. I also did not put the date of the cruise in the title or the description so that can't be tracked. After 7 years of cruising I prefer to keep as much information off a public board as possible. You never know who is tracking when a group of people are going to be away from home. Let me know what you think.

I think that is just find if you are able to upload lots of pics, data etc. John uses Access to create a database and we were just going to use our personal website.

If you do a search for "DCL Fantasy" the group is 3rd or 4th on the list. I do not know why it won't come up with the full name copied. LOL! Please send me a PM that you are sending a request so I know who you are.

Same here. It doesn't come up when I do a search. Perhaps we need to be invited? , Personally, I prefer the private webiste option because we can have multiple pages with different information on each, but I don't have the capability to set that up so I really am at the mercy of whatever anyone else wants to/can do and I'll be happy with anything!

Since I'm joining kind of "late" do we have a logo yet?

My DH John is working on a private website as we speak so we can have more flexibility. We have our own domain (needinfo) that we use for personal purposes. Like right now, I have our last years WBTA Madeira trip up for this years cruisers. Click here: WBTA 2011 Madeira trip

Welcome aboard!! I and Noel and my DH John will be taking our 5th DCL cruise and repeating the WBTA this year. We had lots of friends on the PC who said it was a great cruise. I am one of the old members of the "Thieves" group from a previous PC cruise.

I remember you! In fact we're Facebook friends from that cruise. It was such a great group of folks! We had some delightful people on this recent PC crossing but the group never became the tight-knit group we had for the last crossing!

Being part of a DISboard group just makes the whole cruise experience so much more fun, doesn't it? My kids make such fun of me but they LOVE getting all the FE gifts and the Secret Mickey and everything else about it. But they certainly love to tease about "those crazy DISers!!"

I agree what you said about being part of the DIS group makes the trip even more fun. The only other DCL cruise that came close was the 2010 WBTA!!
