In Search of My Body - Not the One I Ate, VOL 7! Princesses? Nope, just us Goddesses!

It's not a must have favorite, but it feels Christmas to me. I make it with a sugar free vanilla syrup, a splash of skim, and a shot of bailey's. Tonight, I am using Almond Breeze instead of milk. Loving it!

My favorite drink is Amaretto Sour. I'm not a top shelf snob all the time, but Disaronno is the best. If I am spending the calories on it, then I want it to be really good.

Happy Birthday, Kat!!

Don't you just love it when Lisa says, "Hit it, Boys!"

Lisa, yes yes yes I saw the Olympic mittens you crazy girl! Olympics, oh I love thee! Right?

And you know what? I have never had a coffee either. Never. OMG, can you even imagine me on caffeine???

It's Christmas Eve, everyone!

And I am all done. Utterly and truly done. All wrapping, all cooking, all cleaning. Done, done, and done.

Now I just have FOUR days of celebrating. If you don't see me for a bit, I will resurface on the 28th. But my guess is that I am going to have to pop in here more than once or twice just to clear my head! Everything should be fun. The only thing I am not really looking forward to is my lazyass BIL and his family coming tomorrow. The ones who changed the plans and invited themselves to my house. Although at least on my turf I get to call the shots, so it will be nicely done even though they can't get their heads out of theirasses, *********, dickweeds, OMG the fun I am going to have on the boards! :rotfl2::lmao:

You Laides Rock! With all of your advice and support.
Thank You

Merry Christmas Eve.

I have to work for a while today, not sure when they will let us leave. Noon would be good!

MIL & FIL are in town staying with us. My girls are happy to have grandma here. Have a bunch of people coming over today night, then Big Dinner tomorrow. Well mid day dinner, have to eat by 2 DH has to work.

I hope Santa brings you every thing you all wish for.

Merry Christmas!!

Like Kelly, it's time for me to get busy, busy, busy. Company arrives in 90 minutes and then we hit the ground running! Since everything is all set and ready to go here, I am going for a quick run before the chaos begins.

I'll likely pop in quickly here and there over the next few days. Until then, everyone have a fabulous Christmas!

Thanks everyone!!

I am at work for a bit and then will be heading to the 'Burgh around noonish. Lots of windshield time until 8PM or so, so if anyone needs to vent/talk/keep from killing family, feel free to call.

I may not wind up back on here until the weekend, depending on internet access availability... so:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAT!

AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

I am having a good day today, despite a rocky start. The cold made an appearance here in Co. again this week, bringing snow and yucky roads. 5 degrees this morning. BRR!

Last night we went to my best friend's house and Carlos and I gave her and her husband and daughter their gifts. I have to say....if anything assures me I want kids, it was the look on that little girl's face when I gave her her dolly. It was a Disney baby doll (of course! lol) with a Winnie the pooh outfit, pooh pretend crackers, a bottle and "baby food". Loved seeing her play with it all night, and crawling into my lap to have me help feed the baby. So amazing. The innocence of a two year old is something everyone should get to experience.

Spent the night there so I could avoid the yucky roads going home. They both had the day off today so I got up by myself and left for work this morning..... and I forgot my purse! lol I have to laugh at myself, but really? Who does that?! I must be a special kind of stupid lol

Had a white elephant gift exchange at work today, and my gift was a hit! We had a lot of fun, and I am feeling so good today because I know tonight I'll be spending with Carlos's family and seeing them all open their gifts. Love it. Love giving things and seeing people LOVE them. Tomorrow will be stressful, since my brother is now home and I have to admit, it's awkward. But I am enjoying so much seeing everyone's reactions to the gifts I have for them, I think the awkwardness will be far surpassed with joy.

I hope everyone's holidays are going wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

The family dinner went well tonight and now I am off to sleep so that Santa can come.

I wish you all and your families and bright and Merry Christmas. Enjoy the day and I'll catch up with you all on Saturday.

10 minutes till Christmas! Santa is in Canada! Merry Christmas, Lisa!

OMG, totally hammered! In a good way!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, all!

First things First....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yes, I've been MIA, but crazy busy, crazy fun this week. Lots to talk about :goodvibes Having a GREAT day here. I so love Christmas day. It's all about US. No obligations today. We'll have our family gatherings later this week, so I am by no means out of the woods yet, but today...today is just whatever we want it to be

Training for the half marathon peaked last week with 10 miles. I've followed the plan to a tee and haven't missed a run. Nothing hurts and I am SO EXCITED to be getting back to WDW. I am going to do this and do it well.

I can't begin to put into words how excited I am for you.:woohoo: You are going to ROCK the Donald. (and I'm willing to bet you anything that once you finish it, you're going to be signing on for the Mickey next year)

Let's start with (say it with me everyone...) SHOES.

OMG shoes (:lmao: do you know that song? SHOES? :lmao:). Yeah. Shoes. The number 1 priority. You must get the proper shoe. Brand doesn't mean a thing. It's all about your own body mechanics and the proper shoe. Don't skimp and get a cheap shoe. It's so not worth it.

Do you know I've never had a coffee? :lmao: Never had a coffee. :rotfl:

What the ???? :confused3 never had "coffee" or never had "coffee with Baileys" coffee???

I also want to say how thankful I am for this thread, especially around Christmas time when all I want to do is stuff my face with badass rubbish! You guys keep me in check! :lovestruc

:rotfl2: badass rubbish from across the pond

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

A great day ahead with family today. Hope you and yours have a great day.

Oh and Lisa, I don't drink coffee either so don't sweat it. :rolleyes1
