there are so many rides "temporarily closed" 430pm on 8/18. We will be there later this week so I already started stalking wait times. Adventure land is closed, Storybook Circus, Tiana's in Frontierland and a few things in Fantasyland.

Most likely weather. Many rides close for weather although possibly something else?

I looked at the weather app and there are thunderstorms in the area. The vast majority of closed rides are outdoor attractions. There are a few others closed but that happens each day at different times.

I thought weather, but there are several "indoor" things closed.

Torrential rain, excessive ground to cloud lightning, gusty winds...
Any outdoor attraction or attraction with a gift shop at the end will close.

Pretty much every afternoon this time of year.... But an hour later an all can be fine again.
