In search of my body...not the one I ate! Part Deux... We sit at the popular table!

Stephanie, that is crazy about your family!!! Welcome. You should fit right in.:rotfl: Now. Being a Phlebotomist (I had to copy because I couldn't spell)

SPELL IT? I had to look up what it meant! :confused3 All I could think of was some nasty combination of phlegm & lobotomy! :scared1: Your actual job isn't nearly as disgusting as I first anticipated...:rotfl:

WOO HOO!!! The semester is officially over! Of course, I still have about 1,000 pages of reading and grading to do...:rolleyes1

Can you run & read at the same time? :rolleyes1

On the positive side, I start a new training program tomorrow, so that should be interesting. It is called Extreme Fitness. God help me. It is just the trainer and 6 people only...and apparently it is a KILLER work-out...sort of styled after the biggest loser. Which is good...since nothing else works for me!

I want to go to YOUR gym. I absolutely HATE my new gym  No cool classes like that....the one my very best workout-partner-friend goes to know is awesome, but too far for me....:sad2:

DAWN--take care of YOU. I am worried about those kidneys. But I love that your humor is back!

Me too. That's not a fun thing to be dealing with. My mom had a diseased kidney - had one of them removed, gosh...4 years ago? (doing GREAT now though...)

Ok - back to sewing....major rehersal tonight, and I *think* my presence has been requested....

Yeah, and my name is spelled with a k....as long as we are just sayin'...:rotfl2:

Ok, so the purple thing is totally YOUR fault in the first place. When Nancy first stole my purple, I very POLITELY just used green in my next post. And YOU said (with attitude, I might add...), "What's up with the green??? I always associate you with purple."

And thus a monster was born. :rotfl2:

Don't MAKE me go back in the thread....

OMG Your right. It is eriKa. And I know this. Why oh why do I keep putting a C in it?:confused3

And I will admit the purple thing is my fault. I DO associate you with purple.:rotfl:

But...I don't care. I am finding "purplegate" amusing.

Sorry for the multiple posts. My multi-quote is on the fritz!

Anyway...I will be offline until after the kids are in bed. Here is my afternoon:

3-4 Cammie has soccer
4-5 Both Cammie and Riley have tennis
6-7:30 Kelly has t-ball

Yes, they are keeping 5 year olds out until 7:30 on a school night! Now, my kids go to bed a lot later than most (8:30), but most of my friends's kids this age go to sleep at about 7pm...and these kids won't even get home till 7:45!

Spring is definitely here...

You all are just too funny....

Can't we all learn to share the purple.... There is enough to go around....

I am off to finish up some things here and then head out to pick up some necessities for tomorrow's awards luncheon, but I'll be back to post later tonight...

Have fun without me -
Goof

Sorry your day sucks.

And as for the "y"...omg... a woman I know just named her baby Erika...only she spells is...get this...

Eryckah

UGH!

Okay, that is taking it a bit far.

I'll switch you. My afternoon looks like this: 3PM-indefinitely, on tech bridge, monitoring system and poring through GBs of log files.

Okay, I don't want any of your days! :lmao: But you can have my cold!

WW today...lost 2lbs! So only 33 left to go! Sad the things that make me excited, isn't it?

Oh, speaking of...I found these new chips at Costco. They are freeze-dried potato chips - no oil, no baking, no frying, just freeze dried potato goodness. No fat! Just potato and salt! 34 calories! A miracle, no? They are called Brothers All Natural Potato Crisps. And they taste...like crispy freeze dried potatoes. They are not bad, but they do not have the satisfying grease of potato chips. Of course, they are pretty good for you and regular chips are not. The sacrifices we make to be skinny!

Okay, I am climbing back into my sick house until I finish my info for Lyz!

I am tempted to type this out in purple! :rotfl:

Interesting facts: I am in love with my initials. My daughter and I have the same initials, except for the very end of her last name, because we hyphenated her. However, this gives me free range to buy monogrammed things, indulging my obsession with my initials, because I claim they can be passed down. In other words, I can justify any shopping trip.
Inside story you want to share: I still believe in magic…only I think we adults are the magic-makers now.
Favorite Disney Park, ride and song: I spent a lot of time thinking about this, and actually ended up having a dream about Space Mountain. Nyquil induced, but still. The one park I have to go to every visit to WDW is MK. There are many rides I love, for different reasons, but I don’t have to experience one particular attraction each visit. Song? I really love the instrumental for Future World, and “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes”. But I also love “It’s a Small World” and “Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” because 1. My kid sings them to me and 2. They speak to Walt’s original vision. Oh, and I think many people have done great soundtracks for Disney movies, but “Little Wonders” by Rob Thomas just hits me. Even more than Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, another favorite. I like music, can you tell? ;)
Anything else you want to add: I travel a lot. For pleasure. Don’t hate me for it, instead pity me for my credit card debt!

Okay, I am climbing back into my sick house until I finish my info for Lyz!

You are quickly catching me... I was 169.8 this morning. Considering the craptacular week I have been having, I am pretty happy with that number.

That and my size 14 pants that I am wearing today are barely staying on... I remember buying them too tight and saying, maybe someday I can wear these (they were like $3 off the clearance rank at Belk).

I am so going to look out for those chips!! I do the 70 cals in 15 chip ff pringles, but 34 is better.

I tried Kraft Light Balsamic Vinaigrette today, 25 cals in 2 Tbsp. And not bad, really. Not the best dressing EVER or anything, but edible.

I am still on my conf call... same call from 8:30 this morning. Actually, same call from 3PM Monday afternoon. Went until 11:30PM Monday, from 8:30-6:30 yesterday, then from 8:30 this morning. How much fun is that??

OMG, Kat, that is insane! Same issue as before? Or new issues?

I am so excited those 14s are hanging off of you! I would love to see the 14s fall off me! You still have a good 13lbs on me, no worries! ;)

Same issue. Sigh.

Yeah, but with my WDW track record, I have shown PROOF that I can gain tons in a week...

Oh, I forgot... in the month of April, my exercise minutes were at 1500, and I lost 7.4 lbs.

Ok, just walking in the door (at 8pm!) and have to get kids who are wound up in bed....

Have tons to report...been a weird day...but it'll have to wait.

WW today...lost 2lbs! So only 33 left to go! Sad the things that make me excited, isn't it?

Yeah for you! 2 lbs gone...that's like 8 sticks of butter. :scared:

I have to go to Costco tomorrow or Friday...I'm definitely going to look for them... :woohoo:

I am tempted to type this out in purple! :rotfl:

I wouldn't mind...but Erika gets a bit possessive sometimes..:rolleyes1

Wowza Kat! You are doing great! :cheer2:

I tried Kraft Light Balsamic Vinaigrette today, 25 cals in 2 Tbsp.

I use that too - works for me. Or sometimes a raspberry vinaigrette...wait a minute...I think we've found a use for all those excess raspberries (now if I could just remember WHO had the raspberries??? :confused3 was it Jodi????....now I have to look back... :rolleyes1 )

Ok, just walking in the door (at 8pm!) and have to get kids who are wound up in bed....

Ahh...long gone are the days when my kids go to bed at 8:00....:sad2: Now at 10:00, I'm chasing them upstairs - don't care if they go to sleep, but they need to go away!

So much for my break...back to finish dress #6....the same stinkin' dress, 6 times. I'm SO SICK of this dress... ...but it's still better than Kat's 3 day marathon call.... :sad2: ..

My kids don't have a bedtime. I just hiss at them to "go to bed" when I am sick of their shananagians.

Yaay, 2lb loss.

I hope they have those chippers at Sams. Sounds interesting. Speaking of good treats, do you like that Pirate popcorn? Shoot, don't remember the name. There was a little controversy on Rosie ODonnell about the "true" ww points they were worth. Either way, like a whole bag is 240 calories. I loved that. I can't find them at Kroger anymore, but I can at Whole Foods. Pirates Booty. That's it.

Yaay for $3 jeans. falling off.

I'm on pins and needles buddy. Pins and needles.

OK Liz, you can't just put it out there and not finish it. What exactly is your middle initial?

I gotta check out this Little Wonders song. I've heard of others loving it too.

I am in a pissy mood and about to rant...so if you don't want to hear it, tough! (kidding...just skip it if you need to...seriously, I am FOUL tonight!)

So much for my break...back to finish dress #6....the same stinkin' dress, 6 times. I'm SO SICK of this dress... ...but it's still better than Kat's 3 day marathon call.... :sad2: ..

UGH! What a drag. On the bright side, navy looks awesome on you! :lmao:

My kids live on Pirate Booty.

Coming in next post...it is so long I will have to type it out in Word and copy/paste it here.

Yaay for $3 jeans. falling off.

I'm on pins and needles buddy. Pins and needles.

Hehehe!! Not smarty pants, though... but miserable job, yes. And blah-blahs... definitely!!

Not jeans, either. Navy blue pin-striped dress pants that I bought a bit too small and hung awaiting the ability to wear them... and by the time I tried them again, too big. Oh well.

Me too!!

Ok. So about me. Cause I never talk about me.

Madeline and I went to the Dr. She has Bronchitis. (How the heck do you spell that?) And I have some type of virus. He didn't bother to check, just said, yep, you gotta virus. Z-Pack. (he saw my throat was blistered - and frankly I'm glad he didn't order a test, because I'm just getting the bills from when Maddi had Phenmonya (can't spell that either:laughing: )! In February.

So we are officially doped up.

BUT...given both of our fatigue, if we don't turn the corner in a couple days, we have to get blood work to rule out Menengitis:scared1: !

Nancy - loved your whole post! Do we get pictures of these costumes???

Lyz - Loved your post, too. And silly, it's D! Come on, you have read my blog.

Erika - we totally need a spreadsheet. And get your butt on IM, we are waiting for you.

You, too, friends with accounts! Party time!
