In Search of my Body...Not The One I Ate.. #4 "Inspiring Others... 1 Tiara at a Time"

Kelly - Shoes are pretty awesome aren't they. I don't get to wear the cool girlie shoes often because of my job so I really love it when I can wear them.

I love shoes, the more fabulous the better!
I couldn't wear heels for the longest time until I'd had my back operated on - now I wear them on every girly night out!

I love to wear high heels, even though they make me 50ft taller than everyone else (im almost 5' 9 barefoot!) but I don't care. Put me in some high heels and nice jeans and im away! :lmao:

Aww honey. Thank you. :goodvibes I feel sad, you made me feel better.

And yes. She may have sold her soul. Hmmm. Interesting. We must investigate. She is either a vampire or she has sold her soul. Hmm.

:grouphug: Sorry you feel sad Liz

Anytime.

Vampiric, sold her soul, or both? Although E as a vampire wouldn't really work... I mean, how does a vegetarian drink animal blood? Somehow I don't think fish blood would be very satisfying.

Ok, that just made me bleurgh in my mouth a little! :lmao:

Quick fly-by as the kids are home and I have to start homework duty, etc.

Bike = 30 miles today! :cool1:

Core and strength to come later tonight. REMIND ME.

Catch up on the flip side (which means after 8:30).

Mine are Nine West and cost about $75. I have tried on Manolo's at the outlets, but could never justify spending $250 (outlet price) on a pair of shoes I can only wear sparingly. They were really comfy though.

Liz - I love the whole full service station thing about NJ. I really miss my trips there for that reason (and the fact that I can't get together with you while I am there).

Liz - thanks for the clothing advice. I'll scope out the options in the closet and see what I can find. I am calling you if I need help (which is likely since I don't have many fun clothes options)...

Today is dragging by. Don't want to be at work and yet there is so much for me to do here.... Not a good place to be....

Paula, do call me. I live for this stuff. It's fun!

Yes, when are you coming back to NJ???

Liz-I can see all of both edward pictures now..:goodvibes

I will... Just need to scope out what is in my closet first. Oh and I have an appointment with Jesse tonight so it is going to be a long night.

I will be in NJ on St. Patrick's Day, but unfortunately it is a down and back kind of trip. My company's regional dinner is that night so we are renting a bus and going down as a group so no time to play. :guilty:

I may have to come up with an excuse to come down there. Shopping at Woodbury Commons or in the city comes to mind. I am going to need some new clothes in the next few months. My droopy bummocks jeans are looking pretty sad. So not cute...

Sending you hugs so you feel not so sad.... :grouphug: :flower3:

BTW, my daughter's best friend is over. They moved right before Christmas, haven't seen each other in two months. It's so nice to see them together. I hope this kid is around when she's 14, 18, 25. I want to see her grown-up, too.

(The friend, not my kid. But mine, too.) ;)

Paula--droopy bummocks jeans! :lmao: I mean it is a good thing to have droopy bummock jeans since it means you are losing weight, but they do need to be replaced!

Thanks, honey.

Sad about the money situation, mostly.

Anyhoo...ha! This is what she means by vegetarian! JUST LIKE EDWARD! Aha!

You know, the more I read the more convinced I am that shes a Cullen! :rotfl:

Ok, I read this whilst watching the cricket match on TV and Im totally distracted - I read it as you want your daughter around at 14, 18 and 25 to see her grow up and I thought 'well, yeah!' :rotfl2:

Note to self - don't read things whilst watching cricket!

Kelly, I LOVE that you use "whilst" as part of your daily vocabulary! And that you watch CRICKET! So British. Love it!

And I would love to be a Cullen, but sadly...I am not too beautiful for words and I am not at all graceful. (Though I'm not Bella either...:rotfl2: )

Much to say but no time right now...

Thanks, Amy! For the pics and helping me sort them out!

Thank you, honey pie. :)

Okay, so you know that St Patrick's Day is my High Holy Day, right? And if you are in NJ and can come AT ALL, you must take the next day off and go out with me. It's so worth it, I SWEAR.

Also, consider me a personal shopper. A woman in Coach who I was chatting with, and showing my shoe purchase to, told me I should do that for a living. Too funny. But it's fun!

:rotfl2: Its very strange watching Cricket at this time of night (10pm) but they are playing in the West Indies and its being shown live! To make it even funnier im drinking a cup of tea whilst watching it! (:rotfl: I said 'whilst' again - I didn't even realise I ever said it! :rotfl2: )

I think you could be a Cullen. I bet you run super fast too - like wheres Erika..Wooooosh, there she goes! :rotfl2:

I am not a fan of the Y.

Ick. We have a "Y" right here in town. 5 minutes from me. I refuse to go. For many reasons. But the reason I tell most people is the price. I know I will not use as many services as I pay for.

David started pee wee hockey last night. How cute in all of his pads!! He did really well after initially being really discouraged about falling all the time. So, back we go tonight for evening #2 of freezing the bejeezus out of ourselves supporting my little trooper at the outdoor rink!!

Made me think of that Dunkin' Donuts commercial. Where they sing the little ditty "freezing at pee wee hockey" - and somebody brings them all hot coffee. :upsidedow

You must love your kids more than I love mine. 'Cause I would never, ever do that. Ever.

Hmm, I think my wrist might fit into a size 2. Maybe.

:rotfl:

PAULA PAULA SHE"S OUR MAN (uummm WOMAN:lmao: ) - LET'S GIVE HER A GREAT BIG HAND!!!

:lmao: Lisa, you crack me up.

I'm so posting and posting cause I'm sad.

I hate that you are sad :grouphug:

So, I just finished up on the TM. I set out to do 30 minutes of the C25K intervals (instead of the standard 20 for Week 2) and ended up doing 40 minutes, so 2 sets of intervals. I am hoping that the challenge czar will agree that this can count for 2 C-25K's and I will be done with that for this week. And then at 40 minutes I was at 3.5 miles and that was a really annoying number, so I topped it off at 4 miles, 46 minutes!

I'd say it counts. :thumbsup2

Greetings from Nj, where we don't pump our own gas.

One of DS's friends had to teach her college room mate how to pump gas. She's from NJ and had never had to do it before leaving home. :confused3

Around here it's almost impossible to find a station that will pump it for you. There is one that I know of. One.

So what I did well yesterday - at a mall again - brought with snacks and asked for info on nutrition before I made my choice - turned down places with no nutrition info and passed high calorie stuff that would not fill me or fit my craving.

Improving every day. Nice job :thumbsup2

Amy, do they look wonky to you? They look wonky to me! What did I do wrong? AMISH! AMISH!

WELCOME TO MY WORLD :rotfl:
It's not so easy being Amish, is it :lmao:

Somehow I don't think fish blood would be very satisfying.

:crazy2: She'd have to be some crazy vegan tofu-sucking vampiress

Bike = 30 miles today! :cool1:

FREAK! :faint:

Oh wait. I mean.....good job, Erika! :goodvibes

I am so tempted to take the day off and drive down so I can spend part of the day with you. My family is less than thrilled that I won't be home that night since it is such an important holiday and all (there will be 20 people at my house for corned beef and cabbage and I won't be there).

Let me think about it and I'll let you know. ;)

If not that day, then we will have to pick a day to get together. I'm sure I'll be needing a mental health day at somepoint soon.

Talk to you later...

BTW - hope I can afford your personal shopper rates...

Yes! Come!!! It will be super fun!!! We even have outlets here, in case beer and a charming dive of an Irish bar and yours truly isn't motivation enough!

Nancy, you crack me up. It is hard being Amish. :rotfl: And yes, the only time I pump gas is...never. Nope. Well, maybe if I was on vacation and alone with no one else to do it for me. So pretty much, never. I like it though. It's a fun novelty.

So, how's work, Nancy? What are you doing there now?

I have never once in my life had corned beef. Ever.

Nancy - I think you had it right the first time...

Oh wait - I am training to bike that distance aren't I.... never mind... :rotfl2:

:goodvibes Yeah, I know. me too. But to ride 30 miles on a stationary bike? Blech. Looking forward to getting back out on the road again.

Oh great. There goes another song in my head. :rotfl:

I'm glad you can appreciate the challenges I have!

Today I had to make a LOT of chocolate cakes. And chocolate mousse. And carrot cakes with cream cheese frosting. And not sample them :crazy2:

I also made multi grain bread and lasagnas - both veggie & sausage. And I smell like food. It gets in my clothes, and in my hair. blech. :sad2: DD has her middle school band concert tonight (rescheduled from prior due to snow). So I need to figure out our dinner and get myself cleaned up. Can't go sit in a crowded auditorium smelling like garlic and chocolate :crazy2:

Oh - and tomorrow I get to make Velvet Elvis Cake. :faint: We so lovingly refer to that as "gluttony by the forkful".
