LOL, I've got a ZuneHD, and I actually really like it. The CLARITY of the screen is beautiful, but it is smaller than a credit card, so while it's fine for watching clips, etc., it's not exactly great for a feature-length film. (I like that it is small b/c I primarily use it for audio, and it fits in small girlie pockets.) It does only charge via USB, just FYI.
OP, when it comes to air travel, NEVER count on being able to charge anything en route. Power outlets are usually non-existant (or non-standard size) in coach, and they are scarce even in airports. I always carry a short extension cord with me when I fly, so that I can ask folks who have already staked out the gate area outlets if they would be willing to share.
I'm very quickly converting to doing most of my fun-time travel stuff on my NookColor; it's so much easier than hauling out my laptop. (Though I of course carry both on business trips.) You do have to watch the battery power carefully when it comes to video, but fully charged, it should give you around 5 hours.
