I was also lured in by the previews. I feel bad that those kids are living this life. That woman is really off. She seems to have no soft, maternal feelings for her kids. I think when they get older, several of them will cut her out of their lives, or she will cut them from hers, just as she has done to other family members. They probably won't know how to help her.
As for the trip: I would say her "organization" was not as great as she thought. I don't consider myself a great organizer. But I would have planned more for a 2 week trip. I at least would have found out which presidents were on Mt. Rushmore.

And planned where to get food & do laundry along the way.
Am I the only one wondering about the RVs that they rented? Did Kate or TLC make the arrangements? Doesn't seem like they picked very reliable ones. I am not a camper, so maybe all these breakdowns are normal. Didn't seem like the best choices for a smooth trip.
I did want to stand & applaud the guy from the rafting!

He didn't seem to care who Kate thought she was. Just did his job & didn't care about her attitude. I think Kate only went coz she was told to. And I bet she put up a huge stink with TLC about it.
Preschoolers? How insulting to call 7 year olds preschoolers. I'm sure their friends at school will have a good laugh over that.
"Who talks about underwear on TV?" The same family that showed showers, potty training & a father disempacting his constipated son on TV!!!!
Are Kate & Steve "doing it'? Maybe, but I bet not for much longer. He looked pretty over her.
What's next for them? I'm sure Kate will kick around TV for awhile longer. I hope the kids will not. I hope they get some quiet normal time with their dad. And lots of therapy.
