Is it possible to buy a gift card at the Disney Store for use at Disney World?

I'm thinking that a gift card may be the way to go rather than Disney Dollars if I'm able to do it that way.

I was able to sell our patio table and chairs on Craigs List today, so I added a bunch more money to our Disney food fund!

DH and I were talking this morning about food at Disney. I still have not even tried to make additional ADRs for just him and me. At this point, it may be too late. I just can't decide where to try to make ADRs!!!

Don't worry if you can't get ADRs. You can just ask the concierge what they have, and they'll probably be able to find you something that day.

As for our favorite, I would say it would be a tie between Ohana and Hollywood Brown Derby - both quite different, but our favorite experiences so far!

Your hair looks good. I'm still picturing you as blonde in my mind, though. I have two weeks to get used to the brown/red before we see you in person. Well, two weeks until we leave, anyway. A little more than that until we meet. But, to be honest, once we arrive, I'm not going to spend much time thinking about your hair color. We'll be happy to see you in whatever color you are by the time we meet on Saturday.

This morning, DH actually said "We can sell our old weber grill with all the accessories. That'll be some more money to add to the Disney fund!" For my husband to spontaneously mention Disney is like a breakthrough moment. I'm getting good feelings about this.

I absolutely agree with you about the ADRs. Yesterday, DH and I were talking about it and we decided that when we feel like we need a break from the fam, we'll call around and see where we can eat. 'Ohana and Teppan Edo are the top two.

We still have more things to sell, so we're adding to the gift card totals! We're basically selling everything we can't fit into the car to take to a donation center. So we find people who want to haul it away for us and pay us for it. Works out great for us!

At one point, I went SUPER dark with my hair. Not quite black, but almost. It looked TERRIBLE on me! I looked like a vampire wearing a wig!

I am going to go with the gift cards. Can't wait to go get those!

I've stolen an idea from tinkerbell87512 and I've begun to watch Disney movies every night as a way of counting down till the trip. Okay, so I've only watched movies two nights so far, but who's counting?!

Last night was Cinderella and tonight is the Little Mermaid.

I have "Kiss the Girl" as the ringtone on my phone for non-DH callers (his is "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz). Well, when "Kiss the Girl" came on in the movie, DH yelled from the office "Julie, your phone!"

17 days. We're getting so close. We got tons of packing/sorting done over the weekend, so we're feeling like we're on top of the moving situation. Tomorrow, I begin telling my kiddos' families that I am moving. Those are going to be some very tough conversations. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of tears shed over the next week as I tell each family.

On a happier note, 3 of my best friends in the whole world are coming out to visit this coming weekend!!! They all wanted to sneak in one last visit before we move! I am SO excited for them all to be here at once! It's going to be like rewinding to high school and all our sleepovers!

Too funny about the ring tone! Mine is When You Wish Upon a Star and when it accidentally rung one day in my 8th grade classroom, my students looked at me, sighed, and one of them said, "You know you have a serious obsession."

What a riot about the DH and the ring tone! That's too cute.

I'll never forget the first time mine went off after I switched it.

Obviously, I chose music from POTC. It's called The Medallion Calls, and it's the theme you hear the very first time we see Jack Sparrow, when he's on top of the mast of that sinking boat.

Anyway, I was in a dressing room, and DH called me. And suddenly there was POTC music coming from my purse. I was almost hysterical.

Looks great! In the blonde pics your ends look flipped out, can you do that with the cut or did she thin it out to much? Flat iron the top, and use a good round brush on the bottom ends to flip it out. This is terrible for me to say but I actually like Garnier Nutrisse hairspray, BAD STYLIST!!!! BUT Ecogirl left me a bunch of stuff she didn't want to take and I love the stuff. I was just hoping none of my clients would see me in that aisle in Walmart

I also get SO bent outta shape if people don't follow MY schedule, I am like a commando about eveything but for certain reasons I need the control in my life (sounds like I saw my therapist yesterday, huh ...well, I did! I needed one after the whole Bob fiasco!)

Yeah, I think she thinned it out to much at the ends. I tried to flip it out the first time i styled it and it ended up looking crazy. So I think I need to get the bottom trimmed up a little bit. That stinks because I was loving the length of my hair.

Anytime you need hair advice ask away! I took mine deeper last month but yesterday I put a deep violet blackish brown shade it! It's wicked shiny and next time I might do a little more violet, it so dark you only get hints but it looks fabu!

I am the temper tantrum/control queen, trying to get it under (via going back to therapy) control but alot of it is that I want things to go the RIGHT way (as in being on time, not staring at a map, having a plan,etc) That's why I was so happy to go to AK with Ecogirl.
