I've done all of the name options and can't decide which is most appropriate. Does anyone have any wisdom to offer??
Two adults only, no children. One (myself) has been numerous times. I am going this trip with my Dh who is not as in touch with his inner child as some of the rest of us. He does enjoy *some* big ticket rides but not a lot of them. He's not a "commando Disney kind of guy". He's only now learning to love WDW. Normally I'd push harder for more thrill but I'm not only suffering from multiple permanent medical issues (Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Recent ovarain cancer) but I broke my ankle in late July. He's not going to mind much if we take it easy to say the least
So here's my dilemna: I want to do as much as I can, which isn't very much walking. To him, that's not a huge deal but he insists he wants ME to have fun. I can use a rental scooter as I have done before however, I know what a pain in the butt that can prove to be at times and trust me, he has VERY LITTLE PATIENCE. The other option is to take the walker/knee scooter I've been using which will definitely slow us down. It will require LOTS of rest times (because they are manually propelled) but the manual knee scooter is MUCH more accessible than the electric. There's also the increased risk of theft of a manual knee scooter (not much but he's fixated on it).
I'll be returning in 6 weeks for a meet with my girlfriends who will want to do EVERYTHING so if I don't make it this time it's not like I'll never do it again. I've been a dozen times but I just can't decide which option, the electric or manual scooter will in the end be best for us. Anyone have insight? Anyone ever been with the knee scooter and able to give a personal opinion?
