We've been through it. I always bought a half size bigger because the next day, they fit!!! lol! I feel ya. DS stopped at size 15 but I think he's got one more spurt in him because he's just 15 and still growing taller pretty quickly.

I feel your pain. Outlet shopping and clearance shoes. I have DS12 and DS 14. DS14 is aware of what looks geeky? His words, not mine. So while he might be brand shopping I take him to the Under Armor outlet and buy shoes for 34.99. Hiking boots is another story ....he's going to Philmont...trained in a 140$ pair of Keens and will need a bigger size now for Philmont.
Looks like younger brother will inherit the original keens. Poor kid...gets hand me downs all the time...

My ds just turned 15. He's just over 6' tall and wears a size 14 shoe! I'm SCARED!!! He just started another growth spurt and I JUST bought shoes for him. He's a runner and those shoes are EXPENSIVE!!

Thankfully, he's in karate - no shoes for that!!!!

Join the crowd my son was a size 8 shoe around Christmas....he now wears an 11.5. He turned 13 last month and needed all new pants because he looked like Steve Erkel

He's still growing and hasn't complained of any growing pains....

BTW - he's about 5'10" (yes he's taller than me).

My son just turned 21 and he is 6'6" and thankfully only wears a size 15 shoe. I can still find those at a few places. He stopped growing when he entered high school which I was really thankful for. I am only 5'2"! When he was younger he would skip sizes suddenly.

Where do you find size 15 for a reasonable price? He likes the skater brands and doesn't mind ordering online because he knows what brands fit him (width-wise). DS told my dh that his toes are curled up in his 14s that I bought last fall! He is 15 1/2 and 6'3 already !!

WOW!! Your scaring me too!!

My ds is only 7 but he goes in these weird spurts. For the longest time his feet were way too big for the rest of him. Then his feet stopped growing while the rest of him caught up for a year or two.
He has these large hands and feet like those puppies that you know are going to be huge

Daddy is 6ft 3 and has a size 14 foot and son is like him in every way. So I imagine I will be playing the shoe and clothes replacement game when puberty hits.
Dh said he grew so fast he spent a whole summer sick and in and out of the doctors office.

That was my first thought. My boys are 8 & 5 years old, so we better watch out

My 8 yo went from size 2.5 youth to a 4 youth. It was the funniest thing, his feet just grew & skip sizes in a matter of 3 months

Occasionally I get lucky and find large sizes at Marshall's or Academy. DN(16) is a very narrow 14, DS (12) is already an 11 so I feel your pain.

DS (15) has never had a growth spurt yet is 5'10" or so. I SO hope he never has one!

My middle DS is 20 and just had his this year!!!! Now he is 6ft 3 and wears a 32in waist. He started growing a little towards the end of HS, but his friends were always taller than he was. He saw them all last sunday and he was a head taller!

Of course he wore a size 14 shoe in HS, so I thought he would grown more.

Now I am waiting on my DD to have hers. She is only 14 and wears a size 11 in shoes and is only 5ft 4!!!! She really needs to grow into those feet!

Dh was 5ft 6 when he was 16 and 6ft 4 when we got married 6 years later, so they do have late bloomer blood!

My 14 year old wears size 131/2 shoes and is over 6 feet, but don't know inches as we haven't measured him in a while. He takes mens L shirts and likes athletic shorts more then pants even in the winter, in the winter I have to force him to put on pant

My son almost always wears Nike because he has narrow feet and he likes the way they look. My first stop is Famous Footwear because they always have several different styles in size 15. If he finds a smaller shoe he really likes they will order it in his size and ship to our home for free (if I remember right). I make him try them on and walk around in them for awhile even if they are in a smaller size so he can tell if he will like them. Then he can order them.

I also try Kohl's but last year was the first year I couldn't find Nike in 15 there.

For tall jeans I go to JC Penny because they are about the only place I can buy 36 or 38 length jeans. A couple of specialty stores carry them around here but they are expensive.
