Illuminations globe rehab?

I just read the allears newsletter and someone mentioned that the Illuminations globe will be in rehab in about a month. We are scheduled to go April 14-21. I hope it is still there when we go as my son's DGF will be there for the first time and I want her to see it. Does anyone know exactly when they are pulling it out? TIA

Mickey12810--SEE YOU THERE!! We will be in WDW from April 15-21st! I was wondering the same thing! I was griping about the Globe needing a refurb a few weeks ago-- but I didn't want them to do it during MY vacation!! haha!

Is there any info on this rehab yet? I've got an Illuminations cruise booked for the end of May but I may cancel if the globe won't be there. Without that, I can easily get the same effect standing on land and looking up to the sky.....and with a few extra hundred dollars in my pocket.

Anyone hear anything further on the rehab for the Illuminations globe? I'll be there in about a week and hoping that the rehab will not be taking place yet! Anyone????
