- Can I purchase ILL (for Tron) if only attending the MNSSHP? Planning to arrive at 4:00
- If the ILL time is for 3:00, can you come past your time?

I would not arrive more than 15 mins late to an ILL. I hit my GOTG like 45 mins late or something due to an ADR and it flashed blue and the CM stopped me and informed me I was past my window. I had to explain I had a Space 220 res that went late and then they let me through.

Why would you make a LLSP (new name for ILL) at 3 PM if you can't enter the park until 3:55 PM or later?

Can it be done yes, but it is rude, and disrespectful to guests who are using their LLSP correctly within the normal return window.

As @gottalovepluto indicated the CM gets to decide if you get to pass since the Mickey head at the tapstile will be Blue.

Just curious, how long ago was this? 4 months ago when I was later than that (not on purpose of course) it turned green

Are the current rules different for the single and multi pass? It’s been reported here frequently that the grace period for the LLMP is 119 minutes, which we verified to be accurate several times a couple of weeks ago. I’ve never used a LLSP so I can’t verify the grace period on that version.

One correction here: Guests returning outside of the grace period are who are at the mercy of the ride attendant.

Guests returning within the grace period can automatically enter the attraction without question per the design of the system.

I buy all ILLs for as early as possible. Just this week I had a 9:30am for Guardians and used it around 1:00pm. Never had any kind of issue doing this and I like the flexibility this way.

Did Mickey initially turn green or blue when you returned at 1 pm? There was a comment earlier in this thread about Mickey turning blue at 45 minutes after the reservation window at Guardians.

For Multi pass attractions, the current system design is set to green Mickey for any time less than 2 hours after the reservation window. I just can’t tell if the same grace period is in place for the single pass attractions.

Dave - I’m not sure how using a lightning lane within the established parameters would be considered rude and disprestectful.

In the example given, if the return window is from 3 to 4pm, Mickey will turn green any time between 2:55 and 5:59 without any intervention by the ride attendant.

If I’m running a little late but still within that window, guests that arrived before me will find a slightly shorter wait. Guests that arrive after me will be in the exact same spot in line irregardless of my return time.

Yes, we did recently visit and used about 35 sets of LLMPs for our family of 8.

I would estimate that we used about a dozen of them outside of the former 15 minute grace period, usually around an hour or so beyond the return window. Mickey turned green every single time. This was July 27 - August 1.

The only blue Mickey that we encountered that week was at Pooh Bear where we were about 4 hours beyond the original window. For that one, the ride attendant told us that as long as the pass was unused it was still valid and he let us right in.

Again, I can’t comment on the return window for the single pass attractions as we don’t purchase those.

@gottalovepluto - how long ago was it that you got blue lighted at Guardians?

The 15 minute grace period was printed on the original paper FastPass tickets in military time if you knew where to look. As far as I know, that’s the only version that had a stated period in place.

Many feel that the original window is still in effect but it sure looks like it might have changed.
