I think I need a nap. I'm tired and cranky. I know.... I'll blame it on physical therapy today. That's better than blaming Jay and the kids like I usually do.

Exactly! Even my 4-day this summer on Wal-Mart, um, I mean Carnival, was better than being home working!!!!!!!

Haven't been on the main boards in at least a year. This is the only thread that I ever visit any more

Hmm... we should have sent Scoopie with Ray... (though the heaters might have melted him...) He left this morning to pick up equipment in Tuscaloosa from last weekend's game, to get it to Rutgers for Thursday night, Birmingham AL for Saturday... Then its off to Boston for the following weekend's game, Thanksgiving with his mom and brother, then to Maryland for their game, and possibly to UCONN for their game on Dec 5. So... I'll see him in about a month. Calgon, take me away!!!! I'm NOT a good single-parent!!!!!

I'm spending Thanksgiving with some friends who live at the beach who are having a ton of people over... should be fun. (If I don't lose my mind by then!!)

Kiki, I actually noticed the equipment when we watched the 'Bama/LSU game this weekend.

Yeah, our DVR is 100% full right now, waiting for him to pull all the footage off... he's trying to compile footage from every stadium that he's at...

Kiki, I was looking for you this morning. I had to change my rear bike tire in the rain this morning near the Cabbage Patch. The simple joys of riding to work. If you don't want to spend Thanksgiving at the beach, you can always fly to Michigan with us and spend it with our families in the cold. I'm liking the beach idea.

Matt is all excited today. His base is closed today for Veternans Day. It is nice that the Canadians agree not to attack on federal holidays, weekends, after 11 pm.......

Matt has found three restaurants, 2 Applebees and a Golden Corral, that are offering free food to active service and veternans. He has his day planned on hitting all three today. That's my boy!

Outback is offering a free blooming onion to active duty and vets! That's where Jason is going to start off before going to Applebees to finish off. I'll have to let him know about Golden Corral. He's in Martinsburg, WV looking for housing. He's finishing up in England in January and has been assigned to work on C5s (big transports) in Martinsburg. That will put him about 4 hours from here.

It's a Canadian holiday too - Remembrance Day! Of course, they're not going to invade today. The Armistice and veterans are honored in full force. today in Canada it was a very impressive sight to see when we lived there! Everyone wore Poppies

I'll let Matt know about Outback, but I don't think they have one in Grand Forks. They consider Applebees fine dining in North Dakota.

4 hours is a good distance. Not to close.....not to far. And it's not in North Dakota!

That's great that he'll be back "home"!! Closer to you, closer to get to the wedding...he IS coming, isn't he?

If you were a little closer to the house, you could have just taken Ray's road bike... seeing as Christopher left the garage door open overnight!!! (And the road bike cost more than the lawn tractor... glad its still there this morning)
