Stacey, sorry to hear that. With Ebay policies these days, and Paypal policies, you almost have to take returns. Though you might win on this one if they were to file with Paypal. How can they say it's "not as described"? Mainly, make sure you get the same necklace back. That's a favorite trick. And don't refund their shipping, in fact, you might get away with a "restocking fee". Make sure you get your final value fee back though, and they have to approve that.

We've had a bad week. Kevin had his D300 and his best lenses stolen out of his truck. It's very sad. Luckily, he had a rider on his camera equipment, so we are waiting to see how that pans out. He has contracts to photograph two weddings in May/June, so he needs a camera. Monica, does John have extras by now?

Funny timing about the personal trainer discuss. Three weeks ago I hired one.

I'm gearing up for a race in April that I want to do well in and wanted to make sure I was doing the correct training. My trainer is setting the schedule and emailing it weekly to me. We only meet once a month. Yesterday was our November meeting and well worth it.

It's nice knowing I have a plan and that I have to report in. Accountablility is a strong motivator.

Male or female? Just curious.

Probably all the stuff you touch at the PARKS.
I can't tell you how careful I've been lately. I'm a maniac with the hand wipes and sanitizers. I refuse to read the magazines at the doc & therapist's offices...I'll just sit and stare out the window, thank you.

She returned the necklace overnight. And I have to say, she packaged it up really nicely. It was the same necklace, but I certainly checked all the diamonds to make sure THEY hadn't been switched. Not that she really had time, she had it in her hands for less than 12 hours.She didn't even say "not as described"..she just said she didn't like it. I guess what bugs me, too, is that I'd already left feedback for her, and I won't get any from her. Oh well.

I did get my fees back, and refunded her all but the shipping.
Then I offered it as a 2nd Chance to the next highest bidder, and she grabbed it right away. So it's already sold again.
It's just such a lot of little, time consuming things.


POOR KEVIN!! I think I'd go completely POSTAL if someone took something of mine that had that much value.....and not just monetary. Sometimes I just hate people. The evil ones.

I have watched The Biggest Loser a couple of times, and I know that I'm not nearly as overweight as those people, but I still think I'd have a heart attack if I were made to work out like they do!

No Dream for us. Or any other kind of cruise, I guess. We have decided to send Alicia away to the dorms which is pretty expensive. It's as much for my sanity as for her "college experience".

I found that simply doing what I was doing was not working. I could not do it by myself. In order to make a change to meet my goal I had to do something different which is why I got a personal trainer.

A good trainer will push you, but not break you. If you watch BL, the workouts get more intensive as the weeks go along because their bodies can handle it. Not in the beginning, but later.

Jared's the editor of the yearbook, so he's taken my Nikon to some of the football games to get some shots, and I'm always half tempted to either go with him, or chain the camera to his body. I'd have to kill someone if it got stolen!

If you watch BL, the workouts get more intensive as the weeks go along because their bodies can handle it. Not in the beginning, but later.

And they are all under constant medical supervision... they always show the Dr. visits at the beginning and the end, but they are also closely monitored all the way through.

I'm just SOOO glad that Tracey is FINALLY gone!!!!! Smug little witch.
