Apparently, I make excuses and go back to sleep.
In the late 90s, DH and I did a 1920s murder mystery dinner (along with some friends) at the Stone Lion Inn in Guthrie, OK. Guests for the evening stayed the night in the inn and a couple of other B&Bs owned by the host. Our room was in a building downtown, across from a bar/saloon. There was also a western celebration happening that weekend, so the streets and saloon were really active late into the night. I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling weird, thinking something felt off ... but I thought the evening's murder mystery and being in an unfamiliar place was the reason.
The following morning when we met back at the inn for breakfast, our host told us about the history of the home, all the ghosts, which rooms were affected, and stories from previous guest experiences. The main inn apparently had been a funeral home at one point and had several spirits. Our building also supposedly had a ghost. It was a great experience, but we decided once was enough.

If interested, there's a few videos on
youtube about the haunted inn.
The original parts of the school building where I teach was built in the 1890s. There's a few good stories about eerie experiences from colleagues who I believe. That said, I will always be too busy to chaperone any all-nighters in the school.
