Yay she's alive ;) :rotfl2:

Glad you had a great Christmas, we did too, got a stinking cold now though :headache:

:goodvibes ::yes:: I am alive! But not without a case of pink eye and colds all around. We are on the mend though. The kids are plum tuckered out! Joshua is in a Wii coma. :rolleyes1 Who needs child care with a Wii in the house? :lmao:

How was the Christmas reveal?????

:goodvibes I cannot believe he traded you costumes! :rotfl2: That must have been a riot!!!!!! I need some of that hangover cure. :flower3: I hope you had a Merry Christmas; have you got anything exciting planned for NYE? party:

We have all had an awful cold since Christmas Eve (yes perfect timing:headache: ) Today is the first day that any of us have felt something that resembles normality so unfortunately our Hogmanay celebrations will consist of playing Friends & Disney Scene It up until the Bells and going to bed pretty soon after, very disappointing after our wild run up to Christmas but hey ho at least after midnight tonight I can say that I'm going to Disney next year:yay: . I have my parents & Donnys parents coming Ne'er Day for dinner but as it's the traditional soup and steak pie it's all prepared so it should be a breeze:rolleyes1 .

Hope you and Jenna are not having post visit depression and enjoy your Hogmanay in a wilder style than myself.:cool2:
If you're planning to party hard tonight you really should go to the chemist to get your hands on some Berocca, it's in a green tube with orange writing. Pop two in a pint of water and drink with two pain killers before bed and I guarantee your hangover, if it even appears, will be minimal.:thumbsup2

I've got a cold too :sad2: And I posted on the TFW preTR my reveal, click here for the post and it's right at the end :thumbsup2

Hope you get better soon Jo, my whole extended family currently have or are recovering from this rather nasty bug. My DSIL's hubbie ended up at the Doc's and apparently it's a nast virus that the GP's in Perthshire have christened the "Nora Virus"....don't know why maybe the first GP to see it had an ex that made him feel that bad:scared1:
 stay cozy and have a wee Bailey's at The Bells

:grouphug: A good New Year to one and all...Guess what? I'm going to WDW NEXT YEAR BAYBEE!!!!!!

BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL...hope 2008 holds all the promise you wish for you and your loved ones

I was thinking the same thing: that we can now say that we are going to WDW next year! :woohoo:

:goodvibes I am sorry you and your family have been sick. Jenna's kids were staring to catch a cold when they left and one left with pink eye. :sad1: I thought we had overted it but Michael and Joshua both stayed home today and are very sick. Joshua breaks my heart when he is sick. Michael is just a man. :rolleyes2 ;)

:confused3 I have never heard of Berocca. I asked one of the docs here and he hadn't either. Maybe it's a Scottish thing, like Haggis. :rotfl2:

:thanks: And Happy New Year to you and yours! Michael worked NYE so I took the kids to the Hilton for the night. We ordered room service and swam in their indoor pool. It was the best NYE, really! :dance3: We slept in and then met DH for breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

I am having the post Jenna blues too. Just today we were talking and it feels like they were never here. :sad2: I will do a mini report as soon as work clams down.

ASFAM,

Yes, yes I am.....I'm trying to load my schedule up so time will go a bit faster...and to get my mind off all the things I have to do...

I SO envy you being this close to your trip! What else do you have to do to prep for the trip?

Gosh, where to start.....

I need to finish shopping for things like new flip flops, swimtrunks, a few more sundry type items.

I need to start pre packing things I know I won't use or wear before my trip

I need to finalize ADRs and itineraries.

and more too...:scared:

 Looks like I need to check out your report. I thought for sure you'd have it all wrapped up by now. ;)

53 days until Mexico!!! :beach:

484 days until WDW!!! pixiedust:

Sounds like you and the kiddlywinks had a smashin time NYE, ours was very quite but also fun (loads of games and funny tv programmes)

:sad2: I'm feeling a bit blue myself. Jan. is such a downer of a month, I'm SO JEALOUS of Jordan...your trip is so close you lucky thing. I've been trying to cheer myself up with some trip planning:surfweb: . The 2009 trip feels like a lifetime away so I've been looking into the possibility of flying down from Long Island for a few days in July this year. We're going to visit Donny's DB and his family with his parents for two weeks this summer and I can't say I'm breathless with anticipation (I love my in laws but I couldn't eat a whole one..if you know what I mean?)...two weeks is a LONG time:scared1: . I've looked into escaping to a resort in Long Island for a few days but it's pretty expensive...now IF we get cheap flights down to Orlando and IF we stay at POP and IF we don't have any special (for special read expensive) meals, etc etc. I'm sure that I could fiddle the figures:teacher: enough to be able to convince Donny that it would be just as cost effective....what do you think? Am I in with a chance?

I think you have a decent chance. Can you access Southwest Airlines DING fares from where you are? They have uber cheap specials and offer them just a couple of months out. If not, let me know and I would be happy to look for you from NY to Orlando. You could SO do WDW for a few days and get a little fix. I think the POP looks like a lot of fun and if we had less people, I'd stay there in a minute! :woohoo:

Ok Jenny, I'm too lazy to do the math, what are your dates for WDW? Just wondering if our paths might cross. :confused3

I definitely need some of your WDW mojo. :thumbsup2

Our tentative dates are May 4th thru May 12th. I think Jenna would head back May 10th but we may stay until the Monday after Mother's Day depending on room rates. Does that coincide with your dates at all? :goodvibes

:snooty: No worries BFAM, it's not like you aren't trying to plan a magical trip for 3,246 people. :rotfl2:

I had to step away from the itineraries and ADRs for a week or two. I was driving myself crazy.

I'm in shopping mode right now...not a bad mode to be in....;)
