I believe Wonder Woman is supposed to be rubinesque. You never see a crack thin Wonder Woman! What is Donny dressing as?

This is an excellent hangover cure but unfortunately I didn't have any Berocca in the house last week so I suffered big time . Berrocca are those fizzy multi vit supplements, you put two of them in a pint of water and drink it with 2 pain killers before going to bed, I swear it works so well but it also makes your pee look like you work in a Nuclear plant (small price to pay I say).

Donny's going to be Superman, he wanted to be Mr Incredible (his words were "let's be honest Kirsteen I'm already there all I really need is the costume to prove it" HAHAHA!!!) but we couldn't get hold of the costume for Saturday. I'm starting to worry that not many other people will dress up and we're going to look like a right pair of muppets...nothing new there then

Becci's getting a Nintendo DS, High School Musical Mystery Date game & various clothes and boots. Niamh's getting a Disney Princess Vanity Unit, a Barbie Throne and various pieces of pink plastic c**p. I am so looking forward to Christmas day as I only host breakfast and then I can relax and go to my mum & dad's for dinner....and drinkies of course. Bliss

The girls are usually pretty good at doing the excited happy faces about pressies the only worry I have is over the clothes I picked for Becci. She'll be 12 in March and thinks she's 16, a couple of weeks ago I spotted a gorgeous party dress on the internet from one of her fav shops. It wasn't too wee girlie and not to tarty either and I was so excited when I ordered it, she came in from school and I showed her the picture...lets just say the response was not what I'd hoped for, she totaly burst my happy bubble. Three days later the dress arrived, once she clocked it she wanted to try it on and when she did she loved it...I could have strangled her How unpredictable are girls when the hormones kick in .

I'm dreading what Donny & I are going to look like on Saturday...we could maybe keep some photo's to scare the kids to bed at night

I have to admit Donny was joking about the Mr I thing, he's actually totally unaware of what a complete honey he actually is (please don't throw up I'm just being honest )

I'm sure you and Jenna's gang are going to have the best time together, there's nothing like spending the holidays with friends

I'm having a bit of a costume drama, the costumes arrived yesterday and the Wonderwoman outfit is too big . I ordered a large size due to my luxurious upholstery (herm ) but when it arrived it was HUGE, as Donny pointed out I may be a buxom wench but the rest of me isn't nearly so big. I now don't know what I'm going to wear, Donny tried on the Wonder woman costume for a laugh and with a squeeze it fit's him but he's really not into the idea of us swapping costumes (I'v no idea why ).

It's a bit of a dilema so I'll keep you posted on what the outcome is. And yes I may be stupid enough to post a picture, I warn you though you'll be able to use it to scare the kids to bed!!!

Here is our holiday itinerary:

Dec 21: Chloe's birthday. Just thought I'd throw that it. Jenna and family begin journey. Stay the night at Nate's sister's. Say a little prayer that the weather stays good for their travels.

Dec. 22: Clean the house and do I think we need a little smiley that's vacuuming. I am going to also go grocery shopping for their visit.

Dec 23: Pick up 6ft Love Sac for the loft. Finish cleaning. Wait eagerly for Jenna and family to arrive!

Dec. 24: Christmas Eve. Hang out, chat, Nate needs to go to the Walmart for stocking stuffers. Michael is making a wonderful lamb dinner.

Dec. 25: Christmas!!! DH has to work at the station. I hate the schedule of a sometimes. Jenna is going to fix a turkey and the sides. We'll visit Michael at some point.

Dec. 26: Jenna and I are going hopping while the DHs tend the kidlets! I am going to make sugar tacos for dinner.

Dec. 27: The DHs are going snowboarding while Jenna and I take the kids to the movies. Today is Nate's bday and I have reserved the Pope table at Buca de Beppos for dinner. He doesn't know, it's a surprise.

Dec. 28: They leave.

I think I'm going to be able to pin the dress at the back and my cape should cover the vast expanse of excesse fabrick . I've been pleading with Donny to swap costumes but he's having none of it .

What kind of friend are you, you want me to humiliate myself by posting a picture of me looking like a total eejit so that you can at my misfortune...to be honest sounds like the sort of thing I'd do . If I can work out how to do it I'll certainly will try....who am I to deprive the world of this image .

On the subject of pictures, Jordanyosh, you have to post a pic of the aforementioned Asian gentleman...I have visions of "The Guru" running through my head ...sorry I don't get out much

Hi Jenny! I just stumbled across this pre-trippie, and after skimming the first 15 pages, my head hurts! Girl, you are as indecisive as ME!!

I know we've been talking about our big 4-0's in March '09. If you do WDW in Dec. '08, you won't have anything planned for your actual birthday. That would be just, WRONG.

So . . . you'll have to start convincing your dh to have your family join us for the DCL cruise I just booked in April '09!!! We're doing the 7-day Eastern w/ Tortola!!

I'm sure I missed out on this thread b/c I've been spending all my time over on the DCL boards researching which cruise to take. After I booked the cruise, I told my dh that it is going to be really, really hard to be that close to WDW and not peek in. He said that as long as we have flown all the way to FL, we better spend some time at WDW as well. He has aboslutely no idea how much that statement is going to cost him!

So now I have to research WDW as well. I think my head is gonna explode! We're planning on doin the cruise first, then spending time at WDW after (that would be the first week of May). Which is why I was excited to read about your plans on this thread. Once again, I thought our paths might cross. So, will they????

Guess I need to continue to read and see how your plans develop.

Late tomorrow night! I am SO excited too! I am washing their new towels; I always buy my guests new towels for some weird reason. It's how I roll. I am going grocery shopping tomorrow too along with every other fool in Utah.

They should arrive around 11 pm. Pray for good weather. According to weather.com it looks like tonight is the only time they'll hit a little snow but only about an inch.

Party was fab everyone made a real effort and some of the costumes were amazing. After a major amount of pinning I wore the Wonder woman costume...that is until half way through the night when Donny was Jaked enough to finally be persuaded to swap costumes . He looked fantastic (in a very scarey way) and I felt very liberated with all my lumpy bits being covered with a fake six pack and cape. We actually had people coming up to us asking to have their photo's taken with us ...it made me feel like one of the character's at Disney We forgot the camera but Donny's boss and workmates all took loads of pics (surprise, surprise...he's never going to live this one down ) when they send them to me I'll post a couple but I warn you it wont be pretty.

The old hangover never appeared this morning, I told you that hangover cure is pure gold . Good job mind you as we had the Sunday School nativity this morning followed by having to host a soup and mince pie lunch for the congregation..I don't like to do anything by halves, if I'm going to get stressed for Christmas I'm going to take it to the max.

I am now going to sit on my bum, watch a dvd and have a very large G & T I'll raise my glass to you and Jenna and wish you a fab visit when she arrives tonight .

We booked a 7-day on the Magic sailing 4/25/09. It's the Eastern route which includes Tortola. It's gonna be pirate heaven for my ds. I'm not sure how dh is going to feel about adding time at WDW on once he finds out how much more it's going to cost him. Right now I'm pricing a family suite at ASMu and even considering the Dolphin. WDW sure is hard with a family of 5. How did you stay at POR with 5 of you? Did you share connecting rooms with Keith & Tracy?

My dh loves the look of WL but was shocked when I told him we can't stay there b/c they won't accommodate 5 in a room. He's like, why can't we just squeeze the three kids sideways on the queen bed like we always do? I said "WDW doesn't work that way, dear." So begins the constant explaining of why WDW is not an inexpensive vacation. I've got DLR down to such a frugal science, that I know he is expecting me to do the same with WDW. I just don't know if there are real tricks to keeping WDW cheap like there are at DLR.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions for me for WDW, please pass them on. Have fun with Jenna and fam!

That sounds amazing! I bet the cruise was spendy. How many days are you adding for WDW?

The POR was fine. We were cramped but not because the rooms are all that small but because we are used to our home which is a decent size. Once Joshua gets older we'll be looking into the suites or two connecting rooms for sure. The trundle beds seem a little smaller than a twin.

You are the DL pro when it comes you great accomodations for a good price! WDW is tons more expensive because everything is linked togther as far as EMH and the dining plan go. If you booked your room and tickets seperately then you could fit 5 into the WL.
