Bringing this thread back just for the holidays for anyone taking little kids to the parks for autographs...make your own books...its easy....

going back to Disney again for the holidays...but this time not with kids...just me and the *big* kid my hubby.....

You can also use this idea to make a memory book, to hold all those *special memories* that happen.....

Very nice! Exactly what I want to do for my two boys before our trip in June. Well, maybe not the princesses...! So far I'm finding only books with LINED sheets - where do I find books with blank (no lines) pages?

my mom just took me to michael, target, walmart, and dollar tree today...we got 6 by 6 white scrapbooks...we also got africanish, animalish paper(were staying @ AKL) then we used sharpies to design the covers we also got goofy stick on 3-d stickers..there was a camera, a shirt, a goofy, a girl's and boy's ears, mini autograph book, and roll of film etc. we used the paper on the front then pasted the goofy stickers on. There are 20 pieces of paper with 40 pages. On one page will be the autograph and on the other the pix. We are going to be choosing autographs selectively because were also collecting, pressed pennys, pins, kidcot masks, and passports....

When we went for our first trip in September, I took an idea I got from this board. We had three character meals booked, one esp. for each of our triplets. So I went to Michaels and got 8x10 signature mats with a 4x6 cut out in each. We had the characters sign the mats (similar to what is done at weddings.) Now my children have these hanging in their rooms to commemorate our meals at CRT, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. They are very cute, and I just kept them in ziplock bags that fit perfectly in my backpack.

The stickers are sold in almost every store today including Target, K-mart etc.
With people making their own scrapbooks these days, there is no shortgage of stickers. I used the 3 dimensional ones and also put a clear cover on it (to protect the stickers)

You can also make them Journals to fill out for everyday of your trip.

Get two clear plastic covers and two different colored sheets (one for front & one for back)

Then go to This address where they have pages already made up for you to print out in color.

get yourself some of the 3D stickers, make the cover, bind it (you can have it bound at staples for a fee) and Bingo, a personalized journal that your children will have for many years to come.

When we forgot my daughters autograph book we had the characters sign the visor she was wearing that had three princesses on it. Her friends all thought it was the greatest thing.

Another good idea is to get a photograph of your kids and one of the characters, print it and iron it on a tea shirt, then, get a marker, and instead of carring a book around have the characters sign the shirt.

take it to staples have them cut it and spiral bound it
make a fancy cover and
there you have it
