Do I need to bring my sons birth certificates to fly?

Children under 18 need no id for domestic travel unless they are a lap child under age 2. Then you need the birth certificate.

The last time I went to Disney I took my niece with me to celebrate her 9th birthday. I requested that she have a state ID with her not only for identification at the airport, but to sign traveler's checks in case we were separated for any reason. When we were going through the airport security, she proudly displayed her ID and told the guard "I'm going to Disney World!"
