I am hoping a year from now I look back at this journal and say to myself you did it.

I am 28 years old mother of 2 5'2 180lbs. My youngest DD is 5 - dont think I can still call it baby fat but I haven't lost one pound since she was born - so in my mind, it's still baby fat :) DH is a sweetheart when it comes to my weight but in all honesty I dont see how it CANT bother him that I used to be so small and am not any more. But he is not the reason I am working to get this weight off, my kids are not the reason, my health is not the reason. I want a pair of pants that are single digit in size! :lmao:

I am joining a gym next week with my stepsister. We are committing to 3 days a week 2 days 1 1/2 hrs each session, and then 1 day a spin or yoga class. I am also changing my diet and making better choices when it comes to food.

I HATE buying clothes now. It is so depressing when you used to buy anything you wanted at a size 6 and now I have to look at the bottom of the pile for a 16 - which isn't cool when you're 5'2. I wear stretchy pants only and wear the same 4 I have every day to work because I despise buying myself clothes.

So more than anything in the world I want to walk into a store, grab a pair of size 8 jeans and have them slide right on.

My goal at a realistic 2 pounds a week, need to lose 60lbs = 30wks

That takes me to April 22nd. So by next spring I am going to buy my size 8 jeans...and if I actually ever get back into a size 6 OMG :cloud9::banana::cool1::goodvibes

You can do it!

I'm struggling to fit in my size 8 jeans! I gained 15-20 pounds last fall and then lost 20 plus this spring and summer & looking to lose a few more and keep them off.

I understand where you're at and co-miserate; I'm short too (5'3.5"). However, I know need the expensive jeans, if I can just get back into a pair of 30/30 Levis 501s I'll be estatic.

Best of luck to you - 2 lbs a week is totally doable.

Laurie
