I was sooo embarassed...

I can sympathize with you...I was sent backwards on May Day Falls once and I fell off my tube...I also had that CM beind the trees making sure I was alright, luckily I was sporting a one-piece that was strapped on securely!

Thanks for the laugh. I haven't laughed that hard in a VERY long time. :teeth:

tooo funny! This happened to my mother in the early 80's at Wet-n-wild in Orlando. My sister and I had talked my terrified of water mother into going down the kamakaze. She hit the water, and off came the suit. She didn't realize it, and my sister and I were screaming at her. SHe thought we were telling her to hurry up out of the pool. All she kept saying was "I'm coming, I'm coming". I think we left right after she realized what had happened!

I have tears running down my face after reading your story! Oh my goodness that's hilarious...talk about "making memories"!!!!

Too Funny, I am aslo a very FULL figured girl and would have died. We are going to Blizzard Beach in March and seeing how I can not possibly lose 100 lbs. in a month I will also just be wearing a bathing suit and being uncomfortable but I will surely make sure every part of my one piece suit stays firmly in its proper place. Thanks for sharing , I have not laughed this hard in a long time, my 10 year old son was rolling on the floor laughing! I think he was secretly hoping this would happen to me!

 We all have had, at one time or another, some shockingly embarassing story. Glad you shared and have a great sense of humor to be able to look back on it and laugh too.

My story was last summer. I too am a full figured gal who lost some weight last year. I bought a new swimsuit (one piece with swim trunks) last year and had a nice summer vacation on the beach. The beach had a nice crowd and I was jumping in the surf often having a grand ole time. When the waves would hit my hips and go around them the water would push my shorts into a thong. Now under the shorts there was a bottom that to me looked like a regular bathing suit bottom. Guess what, they weren't. They turned out to be more like skimpy underwear that when wet looked like I was mooning everyone (yes my big but) in a thong. Anyway, like you, I lived through it.

:rotfl: :jumping1:  I cracked up LAUGHING (not at you, but with you and the TL CMs ;) )!!! You OBVIOUSLY have a great sense of humor and don't take yourself too seriously----YOU ARE A ROLE MODEL :teeth: ! Thanks SOOO much for sharing that story: that's the funniest thing I've heard in a LONG time! IF YOU'VE GOT ANY MORE, BRING 'EM ON!

:wave2:

You are so brave to post this here for the world. My dh and I were laughing so hard we were crying.

I think me and my full figure will skip the waterparks! lol

I just have to let you know, I've been lurking at this site but hadn't joined yet. Thanks to you, I laughed so hard reading this post that tears were rolling down my eyes, and now I'm a member, all because you had the guts to post this.

Thanks for making my night! LOL Still laughin' ;-).

Hi Lynda,

I was just thinking about your story yesterday when I was busy working on the t-shirt designs for our 2005 cruise. I said to myself, "Self, you have to get your picture taken with Lynda during the 2005 cruise, she sounds like one fun gal." I wake up this morning, and find someone had made a reply on your thread. I'm cracking up all over again, and again, I'm not laughing at you, but with you!!!

I think what brought you to my mind was that I was making t-shirt designs for my CHURCH choir, and I sent an e-mail to the CHURCH letting everyone know their t-shirts were ready. The problem was, when I sent the e-mail, I didn't proof read it, and I left the letter "r" out of the word shirt by mistake. If I didn't get ribbed about that one. I still have choir members today, bust on me about that, and that was two years ago. Oh, the funny things we do!!!

Have a MAGICal day Lynda, looking forward to meeting you in August 2005.

:wave2:

This is the best post I have ever read! I laughed so hard that tears were streaming down my face and I had to quit reading a couple of times to wipe my eyes just so I could see to read! You are such a good sport and thanks so much for sharing! :teeth:

:cheer2:Awwww you rock for sharing your story with us! I wish I was more confident as you to be able to look back and laugh it off! Thanks for sharing.

I've heard about a lot of people getting wedgies on Humonga Kowabunga, but I've never heard of someone losing their suit!

Lynda,

I'm just glad the typo was caught before the announcement was put "IN" the church bulletin!!! OUCH!!! LOL!!!

Andy, That would have been TOOOO funny. It's good to know that God understands that we are not perfect people and he is forgiving!! I believe He has a great sense of humor.

There is a list of funny things that have been printed in church bulletins that DH pulled from somewhere on the internet. Your slip up would defiantely made that list! Tee Hee!!

Lynda

At least the Disney photographer wasn't there to take your picture - and that of the man you "rode" down with!

Very good story!
