I was never prejudiced until today, I hate all WHITE...

I wasn't around last year, so this is a new one for me, Charlie! I'm right there with you on the colored lights. We decorate the balcony of our apartment with garland and MULTI-COLORED lights. However, I DO have one of those metal outline sculptures of an angel and she is all white. We had to hunt for it, but our new pre-lit tree is multi-colored lights, too. I could NEVER go for all one color!

Well, I haven't changed since last year when this post made the rounds. I use only white lights. I also use only white sheets on my beds and only white comforters as well. I have a thing about white, I like the clean lines.

However, on one of my trees (I have three) I allowed the kids to put multi colored lights on it this year. So I do have a politically correct house decor for the first time in I don't know when. :) Anre't ya proud?

I love this classic!!

As for us -- we have both, actually.

Everything that is a straight line (around the walkways, around the windows...) is colored. Everything that is bushy or can have icicles is white. At the moment, that's just our garage and one big bush, but when our trees get mature enough next year to be able to hold the lights without breaking, they'll be in white, too. :)

Deja VU, charlie!!

Again, I LOVE white lights... does that mean I have JUNGLE FEVER???? :earseek: :earseek:

LOL I was wondering when this thread was going to show up for the holidays! :)

I like the whites! I am a WHITE LIGHT SUPREMISTIS!

I have a multi-lighted home, white with color below. I also sport singing and dancing snowmen & Santas inside to welcome you!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I guess my poor little house is snotty and pretentious ;) We have garland with white lights wrapped around the porch posts, and DH has made trees and a star that are outlined with white lights. On Christmas Eve we line the walks with luminarias, but I'll use any color votives for that.:)

Inside DH has these beautiful, ornate garlands he has made all around, once again with white lights. I guess our saving grace is that in addition to the white lights on the tree DH has put those lights that fade into different colors.

We have both. I like all Christmas lights. In my two front windows I have white icecycle lights, on my tree I have "8 function" colored lights, same on the porch posts, whit net lights in the bushes, and a red rope light Mickey head like the ones we saw in MGM last year in front of the porch. We actually have more lights to put up but have not had time so hopefully Friday or Saturday there will be blue rope light around the roof and the rest of my icecycles around the porch.

Charlie, you'd love my house.....it's all colored lights and the majoirty are the BIG bulbs!!!:smooth:

WHITE LIGHTS WHITE LIGHTS WHITE LIGHTS!!!!!!

Oh ye with colored bulbs, BEWARE!!!! Verily, the Ghost of Christmas White will visit his wrath upon ye! Ye will hearken to the sound of glassy destruction as his ghostly hands put asunder not only thine carefully chosen woodsy artifice, but yea each and every precious glittering ornamenture! Hear my words, O DISreal!!! Make not a multicolored spectacle of thine plottage!

he seeketh first the Radko.......

:p

As a white light supremist I want to say:

The whites are superior. The colored should stay in neighborhood of their own. Colored and whites should never mix! ;)

we have white, I like color but am outvoted:eek:  :p

LOL

I found the picture of my house two days after I started this thread. I added it to page 1 and also started a new Christmas picture thread with it. I did the same thing last year. I am getting old, first my eyebrows grow out of control now I am losing my mind.
