I think my fortune cookie came true today

I ate lunch today at a Panda Express, I had a Mandarin bowl. My fortune cookie, a Chinese restaurant must, had the fortune displayed below (I scanned it in here).

Today I received a call from the office manager at the branch office I am affiliated with and he told me I had qualified for the annual 'recognition' trip/convention for my 2002 work. I was under the impression I had not attained the necessary business level last year to go, but he said I did. Who am I to argue, the trip is at WDW, the Dolphin, this year, April 2-5?

This is the same business trip I went on in '98, (I talked about that in the link in my spinner clipart) when it was at the Swan that year, and introduced me for the first time to WDW (seems like I have been a Disney nut all my life, not just less than 5 years.

I will tack on about 3 days to the trip, on the end, making it a full 7 day trip......might as well, I am there, LOL. :teeth:

So, I would say this particular fortune cookie spoke well for me today. :bounce:

Now, I just have to find what DIS'ers are going to be at WDW from April 2nd to the 8th.

PS: Snoopy, yes, there will be at least one business function.

Man, I need a job financial planning. You get to drive around in your car all day, calling all your friends on the DIS, and when you aren't driving in the car, you are in front of the computer DISing. Tough work, but someone has to do it. :teeth:

Hmmmm, this puts a new spin on things. I will potentially have a training/new technology seminar in Hollywood FL on April 7 & 8. Of course I was planning on tacking on a few days at WDW either before or after. Guess I better make it before, so I get to meet the famous Dan Murphy!!!! :teeth:

I must add that until I actually go, I will be on egg shells, as, in my mind, I do not think I attained that necessary to go. But I will take their word for it. We'll see.
