If you have animals you should care for them!!!!!! Why would anyone leave a baby in pain and hurt!!!

Ugghhhhhhhh!!! Take the baby to the vet NOW!!!!!!!

Before we all crucify the OP, maybe it is a large dog and she cannot move him without help. I am sure she, herself is in shock. Lets just hope she is on the phone with the vet right now.

Please let us know what happens, and remember you did not run him over on purpose!

I know that even when I am not on-line it looks like I am because I do not log out when I am finished, so it looks like I am always on-line.

Maybe she went away and forgot to log out???

Bart had walked from his dog house to the laundry room on his own, and ate. I took another look at where I thought it was a bone, but instead it is just some puss coming out. I was in shock and thought that it was a bone...I am going to put some medicine on there for him.

Her husband is home, or he was to help pull the dog out.

I'm hoping this is some klind of joke.

Even if there is no bone sticking out you could have caused him internal injuries. TAKE HIM TO THE VET it's part of being a responisble pet owner.

Mommytotwo:

You really should get him looked at. Dogs are very strong animals and may not show the pain they are in. It could save you a trip in the middle of the night when your doggie is in howling pain.:(

Hoping everything works out ok.

The only people who can check for internal injuries is the vet. The longer you wait the worse it could be, if there isn't anything to worry about you'll be in and out quickly. Why would you not take him to the vet??

This doesn't seem like a good sign either. If you won't go to the vet, can you please at least call them for your dog's sake?

I leave my computer on all day, so it will show me online. I am with my dog keeping him company and checking on him. Just coming to update you folks with what is going on.

He is a big dog-he weighs close to a hundred pounds and I could not do anything. He wanted to come out, but my husband had to jack up the car and the dog came out by himself.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the others.

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

There is pus coming out of your dog's private parts? Was he injured previously somehow?

Please take him to a Vet.

I cannot believe you have not taken the dog to the vet yet. This makes me so mad:rolleyes: .If you dont want to take responsibility for a pet and take it to the vet when the need arises, then you dont need a pet.Poor Dog.

Dogs are like kids they cant take themselves to the Dr.Would you be online if ot was your child?

If you ran over one of your kids would you not go the hospital, because they looked okay?

Your DH had to jack the car up to get the dog out.

Although I was initially as shocked as some of you that the vet had not been called I know that when you are in shock that something has happened you might not think rationally. I once came home to find my cat injured, he was bleeding on his back leg and I thought his bone was sticking out. My friend who had come home with me helped me put him straight into his box and we went straight to the vet. It turned out he didn't have bone sticking out just an infected blister that had burst and puss was oozing out. I later found out he had been bitten by a rabbit!!

I would still take him to the vet though. I was glad I did. I was given some antibiotics which helped clear his leg up quicker. He could have injuries which you can not see.

Why on earth did you post this in the first place if you're not going to take your dog to the vet?! You ask everyone for advice...we've all told you...and you're still just sitting on the computer?!

For the love of God, CALL A VET or TAKE THE DOG TO THE VET!

Sheesh!

mommytotwo, your dog depends on you for his care. He may look fine, but believe me, a dog does not show pain very well.

I don't know if you are not taking your dog to the vet for financial reasons or what. But trust us, your dog needs a vet immediately. Have your husband help you, get a neighbor to help you. Whatever you have to do.

I'm sure your vet can speak with you about payments or such, maybe you could borrow the money, if that's the problem.

But take your dog to the vet to be checked out. A bone, or puss? He needs a vet immediately.
