OMG...First I would like to say I'm sorry. Not just for what happened to the dog but for the way you were treated here. The way I see it, you tried to call the vet. When you couldn't get ahold of a vet you came to a place that you thought was friendly and helpful. You specifically asked if there was a vet here.
Her dog has been run over folks, you're yelling at her because she's online but the fact that she didn't resond to almost two full pages of responses has to at least tell you that she's trying to do something. Even if you are just keeping an eye on the dog until someone comes to help get a near 100lbs dog into the car, do you expect that person to take a lot of time out to write long, lengthy replies?
Maybe some of you should take a big, deep breath. The dog is at the vet and being taken care of. If you have a dog that big that is injured, it could take a few people to get that dog in the car. My sister has two dobermans and one of them got in a fight with a wolf or something. It took her, her husband and her husband's brother to get that dog in their car. When a dog is hurt he is scared and defensive. And not all vets will make housecalls...and if her vet's phone was busy then he's probably not going to have time to come out to her place to sedate her dog to take him to the vet. She could have called another vet, but maybe she felt more comfortable with the one that knows her dog the best.
I just think you guys were way too hard on this lady who was probably already really emotional.
